Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Installs in Minutes and Cool Room in a Day
This is my 2nd unit purchased this year. This unit was installed in a semi finished (office due to COVID) basement. Installation took less than 30 minutes. The humidity is gone and the temp is in the low 70s.
Dont forget to measure the length and width of a room to be conditioned to properly size the AC's BTU. Determine the square foot of the room by multiplying Length x Width. multiply the result of the Length x Width and multiply to get BTU. For example 20' x 18' = 360 ft squared. 360 x .05 = 7,200 BTU. Dont oversize.
Unit operation is subjective and therefore I am not going to comment. I am happy with the unit.

A/C is great!! the GE app not so...
I gave this a 3 because of the GE app.
So I bought this unit for the “smart” integration feature. The A/C is a wonderful/fantastic unit! Nice and chill. The GE Comfort app needs a lot of help with keeping up to date with the updates or have the units with the most current version at least. I have “apples home kit” and use “siri” to and “home kit” to control pretty much everything!! It does connect and work with “home kit” however it says there’s an update and when you try to update the GE app says no update available and GE 800 customer service says they’re working on it.
Bottom line - Fantastic A/C!! GE app, NOT.

Noisy. Overrated. Unfocusable.
First, it is extremely noisy. We have window units twenty years old that are much quieter. Second, it is overrated. No way does it put out the BTUs GE claims. The air is cool but never cold and it does not cool off one room roughly 14' x 20'. Third, unfocusable. What do I mean by that? You can't direct the air where you want it. As you face the machine, the air blows hard to the right. You can move the"shutters" all the way left but it won't make the slightest bit of difference. The air blows to the right. Altogether a very disappointing unit which I would not buy again.

Amazingly good and COLD
We took our time installing but made certain to get just as instructions told us. Turned on and set to eco and it was incredible. Wifi was simple. Had to turn off it cooled the 2 rooms so well. Opened up to a third and still gives a chill. Awesome product again.

HomeKit Compatible
AC is good, cooks the room down. Has a vibration sound that’s high pitched that’s mildly annoying. The Smart home integration is why I purchased this, the HomeKit Code didn’t add it automatically, I had to download the app and go through all the steps. Integration with Alexa is ok. All in all it’s good, just not great. The HomeKit control shows an update waiting even though there is none. HomeKit reports the device is on when it’s not etc. I hope they fix it with a firmware update because I’d like to buy 2 more.

Great machine!
At first, I was skeptical of getting an air conditioning window unit, thinking it would take too much power, that it would be too warm in my home. This unit has been a lifesaver. We have had multiple days of 90+ degree weather with humidity. I have set the thermostat at 70 degrees and "low" fan. It holds the temperature to no higher than 72 degrees in the heat of the day. My prior ac unit, a portable, would be hard-pressed to maintain a consistent temperature on high. I was skeptical of the wifi capability as well. It's a blessing in disguise. If I am too warm or too cold, I can simply adjust the unit without getting up or out of bed. The only thing I wish is that the vents had more direct-ability/flexibility.

Terribly Disappointed
I was hoping some of the reviews were wrong but it wasn’t the case. This AC is only 3 months old and completely rusty in the outside from all the water that sits in it. Thankfully the person who installed it for me tilted it out and so the water drips on the ground below. If you saw this AC you would swear it was 5 years old. I replaced an 8 year old AC with this that was in much better condition. My first review was that it was great and cooled the room but I have changed my mind. I hope that water will evaporate before I have to take it out and drag it through my house.

Soothing and Cooling breath of fresh Air!
This is a sturdy built air conditioning unit that was the beacon of coolness for my house. My old air conditioner died late last summer and I was determined this summer to get one at the beginning to cool off my family. This unit is powerful, strong and mighty with a sleek build that makes a wonderful addition to our home. It has a remote and smart features as well to set the temperature remotely. I love the eco mode that senses the temperature based on the thermostat and cools the room to the exact temperature of your heart's desire. It has 10,000 BTUs to amply cool off multiple rooms of my household and this is on the lower setting which saves me money on the electric bill in the long term as well so it is a win win! Good job GE, you now are coexisting with my 30 year old GE microwave and 15 year old GE fridge.
