Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Leaking air conditioner
I received this air conditioner on june 27 2020. Ever since it was turned on like 15 minute it starts to leak and make noise of water. Now it's so bad that I have to put towels in the window seal and be moping the floor all the time. I've red Manuel but I'm not touching it. I need a professional.
I put a complaint ticket today.
Awaiting response. I will update my
review after the issue gets rectify.
Which I hope it's soon.
Sorry for any inconvines. I know the issues will be fix. This is a great and excellent company. God bless

Rusting after only one year
The unit works and cools well. Setting up Wi-Fi was a pain but once set up works well. Main issue and concern is the unit is rusting after only on year (Purchased June 2023). I have a 6 year old GE unit with no rust at all. I bought this because another brand rusted out after two years and leaked into the room and thought GE would still be good. I was wrong. The rust stained the window sill. Warning - the sticky foam side pieces - once stuck to the window they cannot be removed without tearing and leaving a mess.

Did a great job
After Hurricane Ida hit our area there were prolonged power outages and my generator would not run my 220 volt A/C's I had in the house. The heat and humidity was pretty intense in early September in New Orleans, so I opted to get a small room A/C to at least cool things down enough to be comfortable when indoors.
This unit was efficient enough to cool down an area 600 sq. ft. in the house that allowed for a good nights sleep and comfort during the hottest part of the day. After 3 days of relying on box fans, we had had enough of the oppressive heat and got this unit, and it did its job.

Cold, Quiet and Powerful, BUT..........
It's a good unit overall. Looks nice, gets very cold quickly. What I don't like is the fact that it has vents (openings) on top of the unit. I didn't know this prior to purchasing. My old unit of a different brand (had for 29 years, still worked well) didn't have these openings on top; just vents on the sides and back. Unfortunately, with the openings on the top of the unit, it allows all sorts of debris, bird droppings, and when it rains heavy, look out. It leaks inside from the bottom, and the a/c gets loud and you can hear massive amounts of water sloshing inside when you put it on.

Error code 88
Our ac worked well for several months then started short cycling and flashing error code 88. After hours on hold and much self investigation, it seems as this is a common and very known problem. We are using a different ac altogether, and wishing we read the reviews before our purchase.

Great unit, bad app
This is a great unit at 8000 btu, nicely cools my hot bedroom. I do not think it is noisy at all. The eco mode goes on when it needs too. However, GE needs to revamp this horrible app. Worked the first day and I was able to write a schedule for the unit. The next day the ac did not go on at the expectied time. The app had erased all my info. I had to re add the unit would not connect. I reinstalled the app 15 times, unplugged the unit -but no success. App reads the unit and my ac unit location, won’t hook up. The troubleshooting guidelines for this ask non relevent questions like the writer doesn’t have a clue about the app. NO timer on the remote. GE NEEDS TO PUT THE TIMER ON THE REMOTE like the 6000 btu unit has! or at leadt on the front panel of the unit. There is absolutely no way to schedule the unit and you have to do it manually when you come home to a hot house.

8000 BTU Window AC with WiFi
This 8,000 BTU Window AC moves large volumes of air very well without creating a stiff breeze. It maintains an even temperature very well. The controls are east and straightforward. Sometimes though, it is difficult to determine what the settings are because the control panel display goes dark / sleep mode. The unit is still "on", but without the mobile app or readjusting the temperature ... Regardless, it is a great unit. I've been monitoring the energy consumption and am very satisfied. On 90 degree days, the unit is running around 3.5 kwh / day as opposed to the app's reported US average of 8.0 kwh / day. The unit came with extra foam padding, foam panels, and metal clips to make the installation more secure and slightly more energy efficient than other window unit installations I've seen..

GE 8,00 BTU air conditioner
I’ll be honest. I did not expect much from this air conditioner. First of all, the price was very reasonable . This is the main reason that I doubted it’s ability to cool my studio apartment. I bought it because I thought if I used my tower fan to circulate/direct the air flow where I needed it. I’d be fairly comfortable. Well, it’s almost a month since I purchased it and it worked excellent without using my fan!! It is quiet which is wonderful during the night. The settings are easily understandable and usable.
This was an excellent purchase that I am so happy with!!
