You can currently place offers on thousands of products. Our selection includes televisions, audio receivers, point and shoot cameras, DSLR cameras, photo lenses, musical instruments, home appliances and baby products.
We only sell NEW products. Additionally, in the photography category all of our products are "USA" products and they are not "grey market" otherwise known as "import". Please take that into consideration when placing your offer.
One way we are able to save you so much money is that we don't expose who our retailers are. You only find out who has sold you the product after the offer has been accepted. That said, our retailer network is made up of ONLY established retailers with a successful customer service track record. Additionally we require our retailers to be authorized resellers of the products that they sell. That means if there is a manufacturer rebate available on a product, you will be able to take advantage of it.
We only sell USA versions of photo products on Greentoe. We do not sell used or Grey market products.
Additionally, we only work with Authorized retailers. This means the full manufacturer warranty will apply to all your photo purchases.
Yes !!! All of our retailers are authorized by the product manufacturer. When you buy something through Greentoe, you will get a receipt from that retailer. That means that if there are manufacturer rebates available for a product, you will qualify !!!

It's easy. You locate the product you want to buy and click the create offer button. Then you enter the amount of money your willing to pay for the product and how long your willing to wait for a reponse.
Next, we ask you for your billing, shipping and payment information just like every other e-commerce site. Once you fill everything out and click submit offer we notify our vast network of certified retailers that you want to make a purchase. The first retailer to accept your offer ships the product. It’s that easy!
Greentoe will send you an email to let you know. The email will also include the name and contact information of the retailer that accepted your offer.
It depends on the product. To help you decide what amount to offer we have a gauge that shows the odds of your offer being accepted.
We let you select how long your willing to wait. How long it actually takes depends on how reasonable your offer is. Many of our retailers are setup to instantly accept offers that are reasonably less than the normal online price. But, if your offer isn't accepted instantly we anticipate most offers will be accepted within 1-3 days. If your offer is not accepted by then we suggest increasing the offer amount.
Yes. As long as your offer has not been accepted, you can modify your offer price at anytime.
On the checkout page you are able to set how long you want to leave your offer active. You can choose any timeframe between 2 days and 7 days. If possible, we suggest putting a longer time frame to ensure all of our retailers have time to review it.
Unfortunately no. At this time, once an offer is submitted you cannot cancel it.
Yes, you can place offers on different products at the same time. Just remember each offer you submit is treated individually, and if a retailer accepts your offer, you are commited to the purchase.
We guarantee that any counter offer you receive will be valid for at least 24 hours. After that, there is a chance the counter-offer amount will no longer be accepted. We do our best to make sure this doesn't happen very often, but sometimes there are situations outside of our control (e.g. inventory changes, manufacturer price changes, etc..) and therefore we can only guarantee the price for 24 hours.
Yes, the price you offer includes the product, tax, and shipping costs. Consider the price you offer a “flat rate".
On the checkout screen you can enter your USA issued credit card or choose to checkout with paypal.
Promo codes should be entered before your offer is placed. On the checkout screen there is a field for you to enter the code. Please enter the code that you have and click the apply button to validate that it was successfully entered.
Unfortunately we do not allow people to use multiple promotions on the same offer. If you have multiple promotions please enter the one that's most beneficial to you when placing the offer.
Yes. When you place your offer you are agreeing to buy the item at the price you have entered. We do not have a "final approval" step, you are giving final approval at the beginning of the process when you hit the submit button The reason for this is that we are able to get people great deals by bringing retailers guaranteed sales. If offers are accepted by retailers only to learn that customers later change their minds it will cause many issues with people trying to "game" the system and our retailers would no longer want to work with us. We appreciate you only placing offers when your truly interested in buying the item.
Shipping for products purchassed on greentoe.com is handled by the retailer that accepts your offer. The offer price that you submit includes standard ground shipping.
When the item ships you will receive an email from either greentoe.com or the retailer that accepted your offer. That email will include shipment tracking information and estimated arrival date.
Shipping varies based on the product, the retailer, and your location. Typically, the shipping will be done via ground service using UPS or FedEx. If you require expedited service we suggest you contact the retailer when you get your offer acceptance email and ask how much more it will cost for a faster shipping option.
Yes. We can arrange 2-day shipping for most photo and music orders for an additional $20. We can also arrange overnight shipping in some situations and can give you the price before your offer is processed. In order for a retailer to be interested in your offer, they have to know that you are serious about buying the product. You need to be committed to the sale in order for this model to work.

Yes, you have at least 30 days to return any new and unused product regardless of the retailer that accepts your offer. However the actual number of days beyond that varies by retailer. If the retailer's standard policy is longer than 30 days, then, the retailer will honor that standard policy.
Please note, some exceptions to the 30 day policy do apply. These include:
- Large Appliances (Washers, Dryers, Refrigerators, Dishwashers, etc..)
-TV's Larger than 47" cannot be returned. In the unlikely event a TV is defective the warranty is to be handled thru the manufacturer. When your TV is delivered please inspect the TV for any obvious damage. A broken or damaged outer box is a first sign that your TV may have been damaged in transit. Open the box immediately and inspect your TV. It is extremely important that you inspect the TV for any damages before the driver leaves. If the TV is damaged, have the driver note it on the delivery document and contact the retailer immediately to report the damage and tell you whether or not you should accept delivery. In most cases you would not accept delivery and a new item will be shipped to you.

Once you place an offer, you are committed. However, we have a 30 day return policy for all items that you buy on our site, regardless of the retailer that accepts your offer.

It is very possible that your friends can get the same price. But, it depends on timing. If your friend makes an offer close to the time when your offer was accepted, it's more likely he'll get the same deal.
No !! You can refer as many people as you want and we will continue to pay you the fee for each new customer.
You can make up to $25 for every new customer you refer. For purchases between $100 and $499 you will get paid $10. For purchases between $500 - $999 you will get $15 and for purchases greater than $999 you will get $25.
The official launch of the refer-a-friend program was on 8/26/15. Any people that register using your link after that date will qualify. If you previously shared the link that was in your "My Account" section and the person registered and purchased using that link, we will count that and still credit you ! Unfortunately, for past word-of-mouth referrals or other links that you may have posted we can't pay you with anything other than a huge thank you !
