What is is a next generation e-commerce marketplace where you can set the price you want to pay for products. You select the product you want to buy, enter what you're willing to pay, and our network of certified retailers competes for your business. Your product will ship from whichever retailer is the first to accept your offer.
Why is it different than other ecommerce sites in the market today?
With other e-commerce sites, you have to pay the price that the site is displaying. With, you can set the price you want to pay, ultimately getting a much better deal.
How did you come up with the idea for
After spending countless hours looking for a great deal only to find that most sites have the same prices, we realized that there has to be a better way, a way to let retailers know that you want the product at a better price.
No, really…what's the catch?
There is no catch. As long as you are willing to commit to the sale, you will get a better deal.
How do I get started?
It's easy. Simply browse the site and when you find something you want to purchase go and place an offer at the amount you're willing to pay. It's free and takes just a few seconds.

Products and Retailers

What products does sell?
You can currently place offers on thousands of products. Our selection includes televisions, audio receivers, point and shoot cameras, DSLR cameras, photo lenses, musical instruments, home appliances and baby products.
Are the products on your site new or are they used?
We only sell NEW products. Additionally, in the photography category all of our products are "USA" products and they are not "grey market" otherwise known as "import". Please take that into consideration when placing your offer.
Who are your retailers? Are they Manufacturer Authorized Resellers?
One way we are able to save you so much money is that we don't expose who our retailers are. You only find out who has sold you the product after the offer has been accepted and processed. That said, our retailer network is made up of ONLY established retailers with a successful customer service track record. Additionally we require our retailers to be authorized resellers of the products that they sell. That means if there is a manufacturer rebate available on a product, you will be able to take advantage of it.
Are the products on the site USA versions or "Grey Market" models?
We only sell USA versions of products on Greentoe. We do not sell used or Grey market products. NOTE: this does not mean the products are "made in the USA" , it simply means they are made for the USA market and come with the full USA manufacturer warranty. This applies for all products on the website.
If a product has manufacturer rebates, will I still qualify to receive them?
Yes !!!  All of our retailers are authorized by the product manufacturer. When you buy something through Greentoe, you will get a receipt from that retailer. That means that if there are manufacturer rebates available for a product, you will qualify !!!
I don't see the product that I want to buy. Will you have it eventually?
If it is a new product in a category that we already cover it should be available soon. If it is a product in a new category please bear with us as we are adding additional categories beyond electronics very soon. One day, you will be able to buy any product on If you would like to have direct input into our future products please suggest using the feedback link in the bottom left hand corner of the site or send us an email from the contact us page.
I've seen a "Free" item included with this product on another website, is that item included when I buy here?
We recognize that many retailers bundle together "extras" (memory cards, cleaning kits, etc) in order to make deals seem more compelling while still charging you full price. At Greentoe, we take a different approach. We focus on getting you a better price. This way you only get the products that you want and not the "freebies" that are tacked onto the sale. Then we let you use the savings to buy whatever extras you actually want (often at a cheaper price than the posted value on those sites). In some rare instances, if an extra item is included, it will be noted on our product page. If you are unsure about something please contact us and we will confirm for you if it is included or not.

Submitting Offers

How do I submit an offer?
It's easy. You locate the product you want to buy and click the create offer button. Then you enter the amount of money you're willing to pay for the product and how long you're willing to wait for a response. Next, we ask you for your billing, shipping and payment information just like every other e-commerce site. Once you fill everything out and click submit offer we notify our vast network of certified retailers that you want to make a purchase. The first retailer to accept your offer ships the product. It’s that easy!
When I place an offer am I committing to buy the item at that time?
Yes. When you place your offer you are agreeing to buy the item at the price you have entered. We do not have a "final approval" step, you are giving "final" approval at the beginning of the process when you hit the submit button. If you have provided payment information at the time of placing your offer (which is required for everyone after the first offer), you will be charged if/when your offer is accepted. If this is your first offer and payment was not provided during checkout, payment information is expected within 12 hours to confirm the deal.

Please note, the reason for this is that we are able to get people great deals by bringing retailers guaranteed sales. If offers are accepted by retailers only to learn that customers later change their minds it will cause many issues with people trying to "game" the system and our retailers would no longer want to work with us. We appreciate you only placing offers when your truly interested in buying the item.
My offer was accepted, when do i find out who the retailer is?
The retailer's information is provided after your payment has been processed.

If this is your first offer we don't require payment information. In this instance, when your offer is accepted you first receive an email asking for payment. After your payment is processed the retailer information is available to you.

We do not provide the retailer's information prior to the payment being processed. This protects our relationship with retailers and maintains our ability to bring them "guaranteed sales", thereby allowing us to get you better pricing.
How will I know if my offer is accepted?
Greentoe will send you an email to let you know that your offer has been accepted. We will also send you an email with shipment tracking information once the item has shipped.
How low of an offer can I make?
It depends on the product. To help you decide what amount to offer we have a gauge that shows the odds of your offer being accepted. Please note that our partners set thresholds on what offers they'll see, so offers that are to low might not be seen by retailers.
How long does it normally take for an offer to get accepted?
We let you select how long your willing to wait. How long it actually takes depends on how reasonable your offer is. Many of our retailers are setup to instantly accept offers that are reasonably less than the normal online price. But, if your offer isn't accepted instantly we anticipate most offers will be accepted within 1-3 days. If your offer is not accepted by then we suggest increasing the offer amount.
Can I change my offer price after I make my offer?
Yes. As long as your offer has not been accepted, you can modify your offer price at anytime.
How long is my offer active for?
On the checkout page you are able to set how long you want to leave your offer active. You can choose any timeframe between 2 days and 7 days. If possible, we suggest putting a longer time frame to ensure all of our retailers have time to review it.
Can I cancel my offer?
Unfortunately no. At this time, once an offer is submitted you cannot cancel it. With that said, you can cancel an accepted offer anytime as long as the product hasn't already shipped. To do this, you MUST contact the RETAILER directly by phone to confirm the cancelation. If it shipped and/or is en route, there is a fee to cancel.
How does tax work?
Tax laws have recently changed and retailers are adapting in different ways. Most states are now charging tax to out of state retailers and what retailers charge tax and where they charge tax is constantly changing. As a marketplace, we are following the tax rules of each partner.

When you place an offer the amount that you offer will be the total amount that you pay. Whether or not you are charged tax will depend on the specific item and the retailers selling it. When your offer is accepted, sometimes tax will be itemized and deducted from the total you are charged (e.g. if the retailer charges tax) and sometimes it will not be included at all (e.g. if the retailer doesn't charge tax in your state). Regardless of the situation you will never be charged more than the amount that you offer.

If your offer is not accepted right away and we send you a counter-offer, we will outline for you if the retailer that submitted the counter-offer includes tax or does not include tax. For example we might say that you got a counter of $1647.21 , and then underneath say "Please Note: Your counter offer is actually $1550 but the retailer charges tax in PA. Your final price after tax is $1647.21." Please take this into consideration when comparing our pricing. Most other retailers do not show the after tax pricing up front the way we do and you only see the tax at the very end, we show you the after tax price at the beginning.

Here is an example to help explain how we send you counter-offers and take tax into account. You place an offer on an item:

Retailer #1 does not charge tax and send counter of $1499
Retailer #2 does charge tax and sends you counter of $1449

We will send you the the counter-offer from retailer #1 as that's the lowest overall price to you. We compare retailer #1 $1499 with whatever $1449+tax is and show you the lowest price of the two.

Can I place offers on more than one product at a time?
Yes, you can place offers on different products at the same time. Just remember each offer you submit is treated individually, and if a retailer accepts your offer, you are commited to the purchase.
How long is the counter-offer I received valid for?
We guarantee that any counter offer you receive will be valid for at least 24 hours. After that, there is a chance the counter-offer amount will no longer be accepted. We do our best to make sure this doesn't happen very often, but sometimes there are situations outside of our control (e.g. inventory changes, manufacturer price changes, etc..) and therefore we can only guarantee the price for 24 hours. Please note that extenuating circumstances do occur where inventory does sell out before the 24 hours expire, in rare situations like this we will do everything in our power to get another retailer to match the deal. Please contact us if this happens and we will work with you to get it resolved.
What payment methods are available?
On the checkout screen you can enter your USA issued credit card or choose to checkout with paypal.
I have a promo code. How do I add that to my offer?
Promo codes should be entered before your offer is placed. On the checkout screen there is a field for you to enter the code. Please enter the code that you have and click the apply button to validate that it was successfully entered.
Can I use multiple promo codes on the same offer?
Unfortunately we do not allow people to use multiple promotions on the same offer. If you have multiple promotions please enter the one that's most beneficial to you when placing the offer.


How does Greentoe handle shipping?
Shipping for products purchased on Greentoe is handled by the retailer that accepts your offer. The offer price that you submit includes standard ground shipping. Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. However, some retailers take 3-5 days to ship. Holiday shopping season may affect shipping times. Offers accepted over the weekend generally ship on that Monday/Tuesday.

Small Sized Items
Most small item are delivered by carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS. They deliver your purchase right to your door and a signature is required on most purchases.

Televisions and Appliances
Products that are too large or too heavy to ship via the carriers mentioned above will be shipped via a special shipping company and can take 7-14 business days to arrive once it ships. These items will be shipped by one of the following methods:

Curbside Delivery: Curbside delivery provides drop off of the unopened box at the curb. A signature is required.

Threshold Delivery: Threshold delivery of the unopened box is made just inside your front door, your garage, or at the first dry area.

In-Home Delivery: In-Home Delivery provides placement of the tv/appliance in the room of choice (up to 2 flights of stairs).

PLEASE NOTE: The specific method used varies depending on the size of the item and the retailer selling the tv. Most TV's and Large Appliances are shipped with either curbside or threshold delivery. If you'd like to know more about the level of service provided for a specific offer you've received, please contact us prior to accepting the deal. Please place your offer assuming the lowest level of service (though this won't always be the case as sometimes higher levels are included for free by our partner). In the event that inside delivery is included in your order, it is your responsibility to ensure the item will fit through any doorways and hallways.
How will I know when my order is shipped?
When the item ships you will receive an email from either or the retailer that accepted your offer. That email will include shipment tracking information and estimated arrival date.
How soon will I receive the item after it's accepted?
Shipping times vary based on the product, the retailer, and your location. Most orders ship within 2 business days. Typically, for smaller items, the shipping will be done via ground service using UPS or FedEx. Please note that UPS/FedEx ground service can take up to 5 business days to arrive once it's shipped (which is often the case for people located on the west coast).

For larger items, e.g. Televisions 65" or more and large appliances, an item can take 7-14 business days to arrive once it's shipped. Please note that due to our retailer partner locations, customers on the west coast will likely see shipping times towards the higher end of these timeframes, east coast customers will likely see slightly faster shipping times.

Please note that retailers do not ship items on weekends. Holiday season may affect shipping times.
Is shipping included? Do you offer expedited shipping?
Ground Shipping is always included for free ***

If you need faster shipping, in some instances, depending on the item, that can be arranged. Please place an offer on the item you want to buy and then contact us at and let us know you require faster shipping and we will price it out for you.

***Please Note: Free shipping only applies to the 48 contiguous United States. For other states there may be an additional shipping fee. This fee will be calculated before your order is processed so you know the total price before you are charged.

Do I get a receipt from the retailer that Accepts the offer?
Yes! You will get a proper receipt from the retailer that has accepted your offer. This allows you to register the product and get the full manufacturer warranty! The receipt should arrive in the box along with the item. In the rare event that it does not please contact us and we will get you a copy.
Why do consumers have to give a credit card before they can place an offer?
In order for a retailer to be interested in your offer, they have to know that you are serious about buying the product. You need to be committed to the sale in order for this model to work.
Is it secure?
Yes, the site is very secure. At, we use state of the art technology to assure that your information is secure.
When do you charge my credit card?
Your credit card is only charged when your offer is accepted.
Is there a return policy for consumers?
Yes, we have a very detailed return policy. Please read more about it here.
Do I have to pay any additional fees for using
No, is 100% FREE. No fees.
Can I change my mind after a retailer accepts my offer?
Once you place an offer, you are committed. However, we have a 30 day return policy for all items that you buy on our site, regardless of the retailer that accepts your offer.
Does share my customer data?
The only time we share your data is when an offer is accepted. We do this because the retailers need your information to make the sale and process your order. However, we never share your credit card number.


Is Greentoe available outside of the United States?
Unfortunately Greentoe is only available to people within the United States. We are currently working with our retailers to setup international shipping capabilities. If you would like to be notified when that becomes available please go to the contact us page and let us know.
Can my friends get the same price that I did?
It is very possible that your friends can get the same price. But, it depends on timing. If your friend makes an offer close to the time when your offer was accepted, it's more likely he'll get the same deal.
I saw someone else get a better deal after I already purchased. Can you match the price?
Unfortunately due to the nature of our business we do not offer price matching. We work with many retailers and inventory/prices fluctuate on a daily basis. Therefore, if your item has shipped already, unfortunately there is nothing we can do. However, if your item has not yet shipped please contact us and we will do our best to see if we can get you the lower price. We cannot guarantee a price match but we will do our best!


Is there a maximum amount of money I can earn from this program?
No !! You can refer as many people as you want and we will continue to pay you the fee for each new customer.
How much money can I make from each referral?
You can make up to $25 for every new customer you refer. For purchases between $100 and $499 you will get paid $10. For purchases between $500 - $999 you will get $15 and for purchases greater than $999 you will get $25.
Can I get credit for people I've referred in the past?
The official launch of the refer-a-friend program was on 8/26/15. Any people that register using your link after that date will qualify. If you previously shared the link that was in your "My Account" section and the person registered and purchased using that link, we will count that and still credit you ! Unfortunately, for past word-of-mouth referrals or other links that you may have posted we can't pay you with anything other than a huge thank you !
Do I make money on all of my friends purchases?
Sorry. We can only pay the referral bonus on your friends' first purchase.
Is there a timeframe that my friends must buy an item for me to qualify?
Yes. Once your friend registers they will have 60 days to buy something in order for you to receive credit for the referral.
Can I make multiple accounts in order to make some extra money back?
Of course not. The purpose of this is to spread the word. Please do not try and "game" our system. If we discover that people are creating additional accounts in order to get the bonus this will obviously disqualify them from receiving the money.
