Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Only dryer i found with a shelf door.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not a top load dryer but a front load dryer as the picture shows with a door which opens down to make a shelf. I looked at many dryers for this feature and this was the reason for buying the Whirlpool dryer and their washer. The clothes seem to dry in less time also, probably because of the moisture sensing and not using a timer the way my old dryer did. I heard that Whirlpool may discontinue making dryers with shelf doors. I hope that isn't the case.

Get new designers & engineers to make this machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heating controls are ridiculous!!! Hard to utilize. We've had the machine for a month and still can't figure out how to get the controls to work. Whoever designed the controls should be shot or fired! Sloped top of the machine makes putting items on it difficult because they slide off. A flat top of machine would have been more practical, but NO...Whirlpool had to have an idiot design it sloped. The only great feature of the machine is the door. It opens in a practical and useful manner from the front of the machine and doesn't allow for clothes to drop to the floor.

Almost perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this dryer and I very pleased with it.have buy one complaint. To buy both Whirlpool washer and dryer was a a sacrifice for me but I throughly love it's performance.Large loads of clothes dry kn less than average yime on a medium setting. My only complaint is that very large items such as sheets, blankets and comforters have a tendency to encompasengulf smaller items. This causes the smaller items to remain engulfed until physically removed from the center of the bundle to complete the drying cycle. Suggestion: Perhaps, you could toss in some dryer balls with each purchase.

Worthy of Its Name and Price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went a step-down and after our old dryer quit, decided to go with a new and different brand. Though we decreased our cubic feet, this dryer is amazing in all aspects. It's a simple dryer, minus bells and whistles, but works very well. Purchased less than a month ago, I'm still learning its ability to maintain our daily laundry use. It would be noteworthy to mention here that the dryer we chose is 7.0 Cu. Ft. and, as stated above, I'm still learning the curves of owning and operating a somewhat smaller dryer. So far, I am very pleased with its performance and it continues to amaze me!

Love whirlpool appliances
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We average about 6 loads of laundry per week and I purchased my last whirlpool dryer used and I had it for 22yrs! I have high hopes for this replacement whirlpool dryer and so far ( about 1 month of use) it has not disappointed. My favorite feature is the moisture sensor setting that causes the dryer to stop at just the right time. Runs fairly quietly, and I like the hamper door and overall capacity. So far the only thing I don’t like about this machine is the slope/placement of the lint trap and the filter itself seems very fragile. Overall, works great and does what it’s supposed to.

Motor went out after 3 weeks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer and started using it on Sept 29. On October 17, it would no longer stay on to dry the clothes. I had dried less than 10 loads at this point. The time line for getting a service tech was poor and it took until October 26. The motor was faulty and had to be replaced. At this point I requested a new dryer as this one was obviously a lemon. I was told by the retailer that Whirlpool would not do that and needed to replace the motor. I hope there are no more issues. I have dried 2 more loads of clothes since the motor was replaced.

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this a couple weeks and I have been a bit disappointed. Currently with winter, I am washing bulky clothing and it doesn’t seem to get dry the first cycle. I have tried the bulky setting and I have tried the more dry setting and I had to run two cycles to get them dry. This is the reason I got a new dryer because my old one I had to run two cycles for everything. I would expect a brand new dryer to not do this. Is it possible, since under warranty and only a couple weeks old to get someone to check if there is anything wrong with it?

I like my new dryer but I'm having issues with the lint filt
I have having issues with the check filter light coming on, but not on all cycles. It may come on if I use the permanent press cycle, but if I use the timed drying, it doesn't come on. I have used the vaccum to clean out the filter inside the dryer & have I cleaned the vent opening on the outside a couple of times. With the design of this washer/dryer set, I had to swap sides of the laundry room so the dryer now has a long pipe to the vent opening. I am concerned it that lint may be building up. The dryer worked really well at first, but now I 'm having to dry loads longer. The guide says any problem with the lint filter is not covered by warranty.
