Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX-II 11-16mm f/2.8 Lens for Canon EF

The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX II Lens' predecessor, the version I model, was the first Tokina lens I used in the field and I found that experience to be a positive one. The major version II changes are found in the Nikon mount version of this lens.

I've heard mixed reviews about the Tokina 11-16mm ATX 116 PRO DX ii, but I have to say I have been very pleased with it. VERY PLEASED.I have not had any problems so far and the lens is tack sharp. No back focusing issues for me at all.

This lens is super wide and seems to take very sharp pictures. Limited range, but I highly recommend this lens.

Other photography friends recommended this lens and boy were they spot on! A great performer that will capture stunning detail. Smooth, easy but firm zoom ring, easy manual focus, stunning clarity. I look forward to many great shots with this beauty.

I have used this lens for years for shooting commercial and residential real estate.Focus is quick and sharp.Only complaints: Plastic components!Although operation is still flawless, the hood ring now rotates freely.

Purchased this lens to take photos of the northern lights with my Nikon D3300, captures great light without a lot of noise!
