The Panasonic Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 II with a redesigned styling and metal parts, and this gives a very slight improvement in resistance to flare, as well as a slight improvement in contrast.
Same excellent image quality as the original, Improved build with metal construction, Slightly improved resistance to flare, Improved design
Same focus system as old lens, Increased price
I have been taking photographs since I picked up my first camera while serving in the Army back in 1959. I shot weddings, worked for a newspaper and been published in magazines and this is one of the best lens that I have ever owned.
Realy compact, looks & fell durable, slightly slow & noisy motor - only for taking photos. Only 1.7 aperture has right shaping circle in bokeh zone, but this no contra - nuance ;) Sufficiently sharp. To my mind universal focal range. Size/quality - best side of this lens
This is a really sharp lens, and it's small, so it's very unobtrusive. This makes it great for street photography. In 35mm terms, it's a 40mm lens, which is very close to being 'normal' i.e. mimicking the normal field of view.
Easy To Use, Lightweight, Reliable
This item is a lens and lens cap only in what seems to be a manufacturers stock box. There is not a rear mount cover. There is not an instruction book. The box is generic white cardboard with a product number and bar code.
