solid casing for this price point,, good correction of astigmatism,, very low distortion,, sensible apparent field of eyepieces,, low vignetting or prisms made of BaK-4 glass,, moderate brightness loss on the edge of the field of view,, more or less circular exit pupils against a quite dark...

weak correction of chromatic aberration on the edge of the field,, distinct coma,, weak sharpness of images on the edge of the field,, noticeable yellowish hue of images,, stability of the bridge could have been better.
I've had several types of binoculars over the years being now past sixty. Nevertheless I needed to replace the pair I've had for over 20yrs. I've always trusted in Nikon optics and was not the least disappointed in this purchase.

I use this on my big game hunts you can see far with the wide angle you can see & focus on close range quick adjust to target on focus big enough you cant lose & light to carry all day
I wanted reasonably priced binoculars for field work and these are great. solidly built and well balanced.
These binoculars are REALLY SHARP. I constantly use these when viewing wildlife and I'm always amazing on how clear everything looks through them. I wish my eyes were made of the same glass as these Nikon binoculars.
Pros: Great quality. Great design.Cons: I need something with a bit more magnification. 10 x wasn't enough to see as far as I would have liked.Other thoughts: Will definitely get another pair of Aculon (just with more magnification).
Living on the beach in Hawaii, these binoculars are great for spotting whales and watching sea birds. Very pleased with these binoculars.
Pros: great for viewing wild life , mountains etc. very good light. nice and bright. excellent price for quality toolCons: wont use in my boat. too much movement!Other thoughts:
At first i tried the 8x42 which is a good all around option, i wanted something a little more in your face, so i went with the 12x50, amazing quality at such price range... I start noticing things out of nowhwere, i bring everything right in front of me... Don't hesitate, grab one now
Pros: Very bright and sharp. Great contrast. Much better than some higher price binoculars.Cons:Other thoughts:
I use this binocular to watch birds and ducks in the lakes. It provides a clear view and is easy to use.
