With Pacific Northwest smoky seeing conditions worse than Beijing, setting up the telescope has not been a promising effort. A scan of the skies and sky-hopping to establish waypoints to space objects will have to do until the atmosphere clears up.
These are my first pair of binoculars, and I bought them for myself. They are pretty easy to focus and the view through them is great. A little hard to hold steady, so it's best to find something to lean on when using them. I can't wait to find some dark skies to view the stars with these.
I was shocked by the old-fashioned Nikon quality. Clarity is top-rate, especially in low-light.
Great product, especially to take on holidays to spot local fauna. Good quality.
Nikon Aculon A211 7x50 Binoculars. £89. I have about 12 different pairs of binoculars in all sizes from 7x35 to 20x100, and these are great quality and a perfectly reasonable cost for what you get. Optically superb. No complaints and highly recommended.
Nice binocs, I am no expert but they seem clear and sharp, and a good brand that has been in optics for a long time, thats why I chose them
I received these as a Christmas present from my wife because of my budding interest in astronomy. To be fair, I haven't used a lot of binoculars, but I think these are great. Both the feel of the finish and the smoothness of the working parts make these feel more expensive than they really are.
I bought these binoculars for stargazing as I used to own a large telescope and wanted wanted to rekindle my interest in this hobby. All the experts suggest that a decent pair of 7 x 50 binoculars would be better than an average telescope and of course much more practicable because of their...
The optics on these binoculars are really good. Don't be tempted to get higher magnification 7 x 50 is perfect for most situations and has a good field of view and they don't need a tripod for stability.
Having used cheap Binoculars over the years, I was expecting more or less the same. However, I was NOT prepared for the awesomeness of this Nikon Binoculars. Very nicely boxed and packaged. Even comes with a black bag. Even the Lens cover was very nice.
