Very good for 12x50
Would have been 5 stars but lens protectors not up to quality for this price. Actual binoculars very good.
I already had the 7x35 which I find excellent for scanning the open countryside or woodland, due to it's large depth of field and it's field curvature. Field curvature is considered a fault by a lot of reviewers, but a curved field is good in a binocular with a wide view. Why?
very nice but be careful....they do not open up as far as the average bins ! I mean the actual adjustment of eye seperation.
As with all Nikon products these are well constructed, sturdy and of high quality. They are excellent value for money and given the quality of optics, overall the feel and viewing experience ore than match many more expensive models. A great but, well worth the outlay.
Purchased these for my uncle who is a gamekeeper. They have a great quality finish, good clear optics and seem robust for life in the back of a Range Rover. Just the sort of product you expect from Nikon. My uncle is very pleased with them. I would recommend.
