Nikon 10x42 ProStaff 3S Binocular (Black)

The binoculars are great. Ive already used them for roof inspections in my home inspection business and they work really well. The only criticism I have is the lens caps are cheaply made and the eyepiece lens caps fit loosely and fall off. Ive seen this same comment on other reviews.

I have had Nikon binoculars for over 50 years. Currently my wife and I use the Monarch 5 for our trips to Africa and for birding everywhere. The new Prostaff series 8x42 is quite good and for 1/3 the price of the Monarch 5. I bought this for my brother in law and tried them.

Having been cornered into spending less than for a Monarch, I doubted these would be exactly awe-inspiring, but much to my surprise with the initial glance from box to window I was taken aback by the brightness and clarity of the view.

I wanted a good pair of inexpensive binoculars to keep handy for backyard birding, thus far these fit the bill. They are very clear, even in low light, and are super lightweight. Thinking of adding a 2nd pair.

Really nice binoculars, great features, excellent price. This pair is smaller than I expected, but the perfect size and weight for carrying on a hike. Crystal clear image.

I bought these binoculars to look at the birds and animals whilst out walking. I had an old pair of binoculars which I was using before. These are so bright and a joy to use! I can see the beautiful birds and animals with clarity.

Heavy and not as powerful as i expected .

Purchased these to knock around along the Thames with-compared them to the budget Eyeskey (which I found excellent except for the fuzzy diameter edge-spherical aberration?) The Prostaff are light weight-excellent marriage with my spec’s and I can hold them with one hand and focus easily!
