Dell UltraSharp monitors have always been a mix of form and function, no matter which model you’re getting. Ever since its 32 inch UltraSharp with Adobe RGB support was launch, many have been clamouring for a similar model in a smaller package. Dell did just that with the UltraSharp 25 UP2516D.
A long story, but how well does the UP2516D hold up? It actually does so quite well: in nearly every aspect it is an excellent monitor. The price / performance ratio is very good, meaning it would definitely deserve a Great Value award.
IT's hard to find a 1440p monitor that is made for accurate color reproduction, especially in a 25" and at this price range. Back light bleed is noticeable as with all IPS panels, but i have seen much MUCH worse. Overall, I am very happy with this monitor.
I'm a web professional and work in sRGB graphics primarily, not a photographer using Adobe RGB, so this review pertains to the former only (although the monitor covers both gamuts very well).
