This camera has Digital Image Stabilization which is as ineffective as "digital zoom." Besides the falsity of the description, the lack of effective stabilization makes even worse the slow f3.2 lens at widest opening. Useless unless in bright sunlight.
I love this compact Canon Power Shot ELPH 180 Camera. It seems to be pretty user friendly so far without having to refer to any user guide. The only thing I had a little challenge with was feeding the camera wrist strap through the side of the camera.
So far this has been a great little camera. It even fits a 15 year old elph case I had from my old original elph. Fits in my pocket. The Auto settings were not the best for indoor dance competitions. I went into "P" Programming settings. I sped up the ISO, and it worked really well.
Very impressed with camera. Nice small size and excellent picture quality.
This is our second one of these, the first lasted over four years, bouncing around in a pocket and being used in all kinds of temps. For the price, this is a great little camera.
I like the size. I need more zoom.
lightweight, great pictures just what I need for my trip to Florida
Purchased this for a trip to Las Vegas, bad move all pictures were blurry even went to a camera shop to make sure I wasn’t messing up. Ruined my trip no memories.
Great pocket camera.. A little bigger and heavier than the cheaper Powershots , but this one does a lot more, and color is more accurate.. Lag between shots is way better than cheaper Powershots, a big plus...I like this camera a lot.
This is my forth Canon point and shoot camera. I wore the others out. This one uses Lithium ion batteries where the previous models used AA batteries. I have only taken about 50 images so far with this camera and it seems to work just fine.
