Fixed rear display, Battery life is not impressive, Video quality is only limited to 720p
This is the best point and shoot camera for the price. It has a wonderful image quality. I also like that the battery is the same as in my previous ELPH that lasted for many years. I can continue using my old batteries as you can't have enough spares when you travel.
I really like this camera. I had one before, that lasted me a few years. When it was time to get a new one, I tried two other cameras, and had to send them back, so I purposely sought this one out. I'm very happy with it. One of the things that impressed me was the digital zoom.
Have taken some photos and tested the video mode. Seems reliable. My only issue is getting windows 10 to open and let me upload my data!! Windows 7 and vista were easy!!
Excellent camera, excellent website! The website even recommends a memory chip and a cable for transferring pictures from the camera to a laptop computer. So I didn't need any prior knowledge about how to find a memory chip that fits into the camera or a cable that is compatible with both the camera...
I think the camera is great and it’s prices. When I got it for the first time I was so happy. It had such great coverage and it was great at vidieotaping. Later today I was filming something spectacular and I accsedentaly presed auto and it stopped working.
i wish the grip on the camera was better, tends to slip off!!
I bought this camera because I wanted to take pictures faster than what my Samsung was capable of doing. It does the the job I want very well but the sensor is problematic in low light conditions, My Samsung would take a picture in the darkest conditions, not a problem but the Canon will not do...
I wanted an light weight, easy to use, inexpensive point and shoot camera. That's exactly what this camera has. The photos are nice quality and there is not a lag time after you shoot. It came with a lanyard so I carry it on my wrist and always be ready for the shot.
This is a good value for a low price. 8X zoom is nice, AF is good, Low noise on above ISO200, compact. Lack of cable doesn't bother me as I remove sd card to copy photos. Thus, a solid Canon camera.
I use this camera everyday for work. This is my 3rd power shot. The first is still being used occasionally by my wife, the second got water logged in my pocket so I stole the battery and memory card and pitched the rest, the third is in use and will be for several more years before I destroy it in...
