This is my Review of the new ATH-SR5BT, of which I have received a pre-release unit directly from Audio-Technica U.S.The unit I have received is anyway fully functional and it is the same exact one which you would receive.
Excellent Sound Quality, comfortable, small, attractive yet simple design, very long battery life, Hi-Res, cable with Mic, very reasonable price.
Some people may wish some extra loudness and extra bass.

We gave broad recommendations for both the ATH-MSR7 and ATH-MSR7NC, even if we did find them a bit bright sounding and had some concerns about creaks coming...
I have two other Bluetooth headphones to compare these Audio Technica SR5BTBK to - Beats Solo2 and JBL Everest 300. The Audio Technicas have very strong midrange and good highs. Bass is mostly flat and barely adequate.
Slightly lacking in bass.
I am not an audiophile. I'm an average consumer looking for great sounding Bluetooth headphones at a reasonable price. The ATH-SR5BT was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to get rid of the cables so that I can have the freedom to roam around the house and yard without getting the cord stuck...
