The only thing that concerns me is the door latches are different than the standard microwave latches, they seem like they may be weaker than those of other makes. The microwave frequently states the door isn't closed properly, but fear of damaging the latches makes me nervous about closing the door...
Generally OK. Works fine. Would prefer a flat inner surface -- not everything needs a turntable, and you can't fit two dishes inside if they're going to be turning around. Function sounds are quite loud. We found the way to turn them off, but would prefer the option of a soft click instead.
Really happy I shopped at Appliances Connection and I am very impressed with this unit. I like how it comes with 300 CFM ventilation, 2 speed fan and the auto defrost. It looks good in my kitchen and works great! Super happy!
Has a light toward bottom left rear that has a full or 1/2 light but basically useless for illumination, no more than a weak night light. My old Kenmore had a 23/24” fluorescent also towards rear but did a fabulous job illuminating oven top with dials at rear, as well provided adequate illumination...
Seems to be stronger than my old over-the-stove microwave. I do miss the instant minutes, i.e. push 1 get 1 minutes, 2 and get 2 minutes, up to 6 minutes.

This microwave replaced one that was very complicated to operate and only lasted 7 years. We're happy with its operation except it is very deep and sticks way out over the stovetop. It would be great for someone who needs a large unit but I should have paid attention to the dimensions.
I am enjoying my new microwave. It has the 30 sec button, nice big inside glass tray, and slick outside view. I would have liked a handle to open the door rather than a button but I am still adjusting. Everything is working well.
Browsed through the internet and found this amazing Amana model for my new home. Works just fine without any issues. Love the ventilation, heats up all my food evenly
Replaced a 22 Year old Amana microwave with this new one. The old one still worked great but the handle finally gave out. Since I was already switching to black dishwasher, oven, range, all black Amana. Now just need a black fridge.
