I like this lens a lot. Well built and very pretty (if that is of importance). Purchased to replace my Rokinon 12mm f/2.0. Truth be told, at least for the copies I have, the Rokinon is a bit sharper in the center, but the Zeiss wins at the corners and edges.
I was truly surprised with the versatility and image quality of this lens. I bought it for the macro capabilities, but find myself leaving it on the camera more and more as a normal lens. I love the focal length and the quality of images at all ranges near to far is amazing.
A fantastic lens, great for close up work, i do a lot of food photography, but also excellent for portraits! I definitely recommend it!
Love Zeiss and had the old 50mm Pentax mount which I used and loved for years. having recently switched to Fuji XT 2 I bought the 60mm and can happily say it is as good if not better than my old lens. Use it mainly in the studio photographing dead bugs in ice - focus stacking and it works a treat.
