Definitely my favorite lens for the E-Mount APS-C cameras. I even used this on a a3000 for the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing. It is too noisy for video with auto-focus on, but who cares.
With the more recent price drop of this lens, I really love what this lens can do. It's sharp and the color rendering is amazing. This lens isn't quiet at all. It makes noise, so I can't recommend this for video at all.
Use this lens for landscape and portraiture. I really love the crisp, clean photos I get with the Touit Zeiss...Oh! The bokeh...marvelous! Really awesome shots with tack sharp subject and milky smooth blurring in the background or foreground.
I ordered the Touit 32mm lens to be mated with my Sony a6000. I had read from other reviews that it was somewhat slow to focus and a bit noisy. Nonetheless others had said that this lens was capable of producing images that were quite sharp.
I got this lens two days ago, I'm using it on a sony a6000. The results are just brilliant! day/night, portrait/landscape/macro, indoors/outdoors, still/video.From what I read online about it being too noisy, Thats right.overall it's an upgrade comparing to the kit lens.
The image quality and build are what you'd expect from a pure Zeiss lens. Definitely worth the investment.
Bought it for my wife's Sony A 6000 camera.Absolutely stunning lens.Image quality is superb -extremely sharp, even wide open, fantastic Zeiss colors,3D pop and micro details.Very negligible chromatic aberration.Zeiss Touit 32mm is an excellent companion for APS - C cameraslike Sony A 6000.
Sharper than the FE 35mm sony zeiss offering when used on the a6000. Round aperture blades are also nicer than the straight blades on the Sony Zeiss FE 35mm. Plastic lens hood is sturdy enough. AF is not as noisy as people say online. Focus is quick enough for children and pets.
Focus is plenty fast not a problem, noise no problem picture quality excelent.....sharp....
I was trying to decide between this lens, the SEL35F18 and the FE 35F28. I was definitely concerned about the noise and slow auto focus that I read in DP Review even though people said post firmware update it was ok.
