The ZEISS Milvus 85mm f/1.4 ZE is a very good lens. The color reproduction is really outstanding with ZEISS lenses. I just sold my 3 (three) SIGMA art lenses because I could easily see that the ZEISS offers superior color quality. If you want real professional results go with the ZEISS products.

I am. full-time professional videographer/photographer and I purchased this lens primarily for videography and I have had the opportunity to use it a few times now and I absolutely love the image from this lens! It creates a gorgeous creamy bokeh, and has a lovely tonal quality to the entire image.

My top concern was the manual focusing as I shoot my portraits wide open, usually F1.4-F2. But up to now, all my images from this superb lens are super sharp and in focus. The image quality is amazing.

This lens will blow the Canon 85 f/1.2 out of the water. Color, bokeh, and build quality for less money. I love the manual focus it really brings back the art of framing.

This is my first Zeiss lens. It is everything that I had ever read about.

This line of Zeiss lenses rivals the Otus line at a fraction of the cost. Optic truths revealed within this heavy, yet beautifully manufactured lens. I love the images it produces. It has that punchy, contrasty Zeiss look with great color rendition and nice bokeh.
