Great machines
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to get this wonderful stackable washer/dryer at a very reasonable price. It looked and sounded great and is! It helped that our daughter had one like this as figuring out how to use was a bit overwhelming. The man that delivered it and set it up is said we could use pod detergent, don’t! The pod didn’t dissolve. We are very happy with the job both the washer and dryer do! Delivered, set up, took old machines. Delivery men wore masks, set everything up, and were pleasant and wasted no time. Again, great machines, great price, great job cleaning our laundry and drying it, too!

Excellent Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our Maytag Neptune after 17 years of faithful service. When looking for a new major appliance I have the following advice. ALWAYS get the opinions of people who repair appliances before buying. There are a number of brands ranked higher than Whirlpool on many sites, however when you ask repair people or read their bulletin boards and blogs, you will find out just how fast those ratings drops once repairs and parts cannot be made or sourced. Everything breaks eventually. The question is do you want something that can be repaired within reason or do you want to buy a brand new unit?

Horrible!
I bought my dryer in September. Already I’ve had a technician come to repair the dryer TWICE. The 1st time the panel would make a weird noise and had moisture inside of it. The 2nd time the panel just stopped working altogether. Well today the dryer has been on for 2 hours so when we went to check on it, turns out none of the buttons will work and neither will the panel. This is getting ridiculous. At this point I hope Whirlpool will just replace my entire dryer when we contact them tomorrow morning.

Disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and accompanying washer to replace a Maytag stacked unit that I loved. The dryer is LOUD. After running about 10 minutes it quiets down. I think the noise is because the sheet metal is rattling until it warms up and expands. I haven't been able to correct this. The biggest disappointment is that it doesn't dry anything on the first cycle. I've used it for months and have yet to find a dry pair of jeans after the first cycle. Running two or more cycles is standard at my house. In an effort to offer more features, I feel Whirlpool overcomplicated things. There are 6 What to Dry options, and 6 How to Dry options. All you need is Time and Temperature.

Not bad , not the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this dryer about a month now and it’s very easy to use, quiet, and holds anything I could ever imagine needing to dry , but often things get wrapped in the middle of the bundle and won’t be dry so I’ll have to re sort and keep drying . It looks great and frees up space by being stacked in our smallish laundry room and that’s the main reason we went to front loaders for our reno but I’m starting to Miss my old “inefficient “ Machines . Dried everything in 30 min or less and things were actually all dry .

Sooo quiet and efficient!!

It handled my comforters (more than one) like a true champ! The touch controls are really easy and there are many “fine tuning” options as well. The lint filter is durable and easy to clean. So far, my son came home from college with all (ALL) his stuff. We had it done lickety split! The wrinkle free button is a fan favorite!!
I wasn’t even going to get the dryer, but/ when my new washer came- it was sleek and modern and quiet and energy efficient- I just had to do it. Glad I did!!

Fix 3 times in 2 years, still doesn't work!
I am writing yet another review because I just had this dryer fixed a THIRD time in less than two years today, AND IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. The dyer motor broke in August 2022 after less than a year. Then the control panel broke in July 2022. I had to pay to replace the control panel --- AND IT STOPPED WORKING AFTER ONE LOAD! So then I had to replace the main computer (today) -- AND IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. I have now paid almost as much in repairs as I paid for the dryer. AND WHIRLPOOL REFUSED TO PROVIDE THE REPLACEMENT CONTROL PANEL OR COMPUTER FOR FREE! When I wrote a review here AND GAVE MY EMAIL, Whirpool posted a cute little message telling me to contact them on social media -- only I am not on social media. And the dealer contacted Whirlpool for us, trying to get Whirlpool to own up to selling us a lemon. Whirlpool's response? No dice. We are stuck with these bills, no dryer, and a growing pile of laundry.

Quiet operation. Good value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well, quiet operation. Two points that I found less favorable:(1) the instructions for switching the door were incorrect and need to be updated; and (2) no strain-relief connector in my hardware kit. Given the larger size of where the cord (separate purchase) enters the dryer housing, a strain relief connector should have been included in the hardware pack for safety reasons. Strain relief ensures that the electrical connects remain safe and secure and prevents the cord from abrasions against the housing. Unit stacks nicely with accompanying Whirlpool washer.
