While it isn’t an exciting dishwasher, this made-in-America model washes and dries very well on the Normal cycle. For an under-$500 dishwasher, we find that it’s a good value. Before you buy, compare it to the GE GDF610 , which also scored very well, and costs about the same.
Great cleaning on Normal cycle, A good value for its cost
Normal cycle takes a long time—about three hours
For many people, Whirlpool is a trusted name, and this dishwasher is made in America. We find that it leaves specks and stains on some dishes in the 1-Hour and Heavy cycles, so if you bring it home, stick to the Normal cycle, or make sure you scrape and rinse dishes well before loading them.
Great design and features, Affordably priced
Had difficulty cleaning tough stains
I've used this DW for nearly 4 months. I had a similar model with the anywhere silver ware tray. We kept the second silverware and use the door rack and one in the lower rack. we use the silverware slots and have had no trouble getting clean silverware since it keeps the the pieces separated.
Very simple to use. It seems to have more space inside than my old one. It is super quiet. I don’t even know it’s on! Dishes, including pots and pans, are spotless. I did a one hour wash and the dishes were just as clean as if I would have done a normal cycle.
Appliances Connection is great! This is what online appliance purchasing should be. Not only quite good deals (we looked all over), but I had a appliance issue that was resolved quickly and pro-actively. Supervisor Calvin and agent Iijana were great!
This dishwasher is super quiet, attractive in appearance and is doing a good job washing the dishes. We especially like the third rack which is great for large utensils and small lids. We've been using it almost two weeks which is long enough to know that it does a much better job than our old one.
I really like my new dishwasher. It is soooooo quiet. The only down side is that it doesn't dry my dishes as well as I would like. Other than that it is great
I had my new dishwasher installed 1 week ago today and have run 3 loads thru it so far. I used the 1 Hr. cycle with heated dry each time and I'm very pleased! The dishes have come out clean and completely dry in 78 mins. each time (60 mins for the wash cycle and 18 mins for the dry).
I have had this dishwasher for a couple of years now. It works okay, but I had to remove the top rack. 1) it was useless for anything other than flat silverware, 2) with it in place it was impossible to raise the middle rack high enough to put dishes in the bottom.
This dishwasher is fabulous! Bought 8 months ago and it is so quiet you don't even know it's running. The dishes comes out sparkling clean. I didn't want the one with three racks because I didn't want to take the time to place each individual utensil so I got the two racks and am happy that I did.
This Whirlpool WDT730PAHW is just what my mom needed. She loves the way it cleans everything and even though it took a while to reach us in Cortez CO - it was well worth the wait
This dishwasher has a lot of room & I especially like that the silverware basket fits inside the door. The top rack is also nice, but items don't always get 100% cleaned or dried on that rack. Doesn't always get dishes 100% clean & have had it less than a month. About the same as my old dishwasher.
