As a hello message from a new user on BirdForum (actually in read-only mode for over a year), I would like to write about one of my binoculars - from a user point of view.

lightweight, bright, water resistant

field curvature, sloppy focus on mine
These are bigger than a pair of Nikon compacts I have but the small weight and size disanvantage is negligible. The quality of the image and ease of acquiring your subject and focusing quickly is well worth it. We have two pairs of these.
Receive as Christmas gift and could not be more pleased. Bright, clear and amazing guarantee.
Gift for Dad. He liked them much better than his current cheapo binocs. Bright. A little larger than I expected but still a good size for hunting/hiking.
As with so many others, we were looking for a light-weight binoc. for travel and as a side issue, we wanted durability and some degree of water resistance because we'll also be using them around water. Preliminary use has been positive, even our 9-yr old could use them with ease.
I use these deer hunting, and i already had the Vortex Crossfire 10x32 binos, but wanted some a little smaller. These do the trick. Very crisp and sharp.
When I go an o birding trip, I take my 8x42 binocs, but on casual outings where birding is incidental, like family trips, these are easy to pack into a small bag, or pocket of a jacket and also light weight.
Tried these out, but they just didn't seem small enough to justify the restriction that 8x26 imposes on image quality. Went for a pair of truly compact double hinged roof prisms instead (plus a pair of only slightly bigger but much brighter and sharper Bushnell UHD 8x36's).
After doing a lot of research into how to best replace my previous (finally broken) economical binoculars, I became convinced that reverse Porro prism design offers the greatest advantages for the money.
