The tripod is a fine product. Does what it is designed to do, however if your using large lenses like a G Master zoom , the tripod is light. There is no hook at bottom of the tube that the ball mount is on for weights. That would have been a huge plus. You will need to use weight to stabilize.

A lightweight compact tripod with a clever reversible center column design which is easier to use. Now finally I can bring a tripod on my hikes. Rubber feet with retractable steel spikes is a plus. One of the reasons to buy this tripod is flip leg locks, which I prefer over twist lock.

Wonderfully constructed, adjustable tension on latches and leg spread, terrific ball head with short throws from lock to smooth movement, great carrying case. It's most unique feature is its undoing.

Solid & stable, but most of all, lightweight & versatile. It fits in a side pocket of my camera bag & adds very little weight. Great for travel. I think that's the selling point. It's lightweight but not cheaply made at all. It provides the perfect balance between portability & stability.

I have not had the opportunity to use the tripod yet in a real world photo shoot, but I have mounted my camera and lens on it (Nikon D500 w/ Nikkor 200-500mm f5.6) and it handled the camera and lens just as I thought (hoped) it would.

My main tripod is larger and carbon fiber that I use for landscape photography. I have been wanting a smaller tripod for travel and long hikes and I have it with this one.It has the features that I was looking for, lever locks, very sturdy. It also has a padded leg and folds up very small.

I have a Vanguard 263 tripod which I love - but it is too big to pack with my carry on camera bag. I bought the 235AB because it is only 15 when compressed. Only had it a short time but so far I like it. The Arca head fits my Peak Design plate (which the 263 does not), so that is a plus.

The product suits my preference for folded length, weight, loaded camera weight (DSLR with zoom lens 18-300 mm) capacity, quick camera release, but the tighten tool (allen wrench) for the quick release leg adjustment allen screws will not fit, that's the reason for the 4 stars.

I keep this tripod in my car for those unplanned moments on the road. It sets up quickly and is quite capable of supporting my D600 with the 24-85 lens. I have taken some nice landscape/sunrise shots that required some steady legs for slow shutter speeds.

Great little tripod, easy to haul around. After owning this for several weeks, I noticed the Arca-type quick release was missing the pin that stops the mount form sliding off! I used to turn the release knob 10 times and the camera would come off. One day, I turned it 3 times and it slid off!
