works! adding extra 128g space on my macbook pro is huge upgrade without any crazy installation. great idea! storing all the pictures and also redirected iTunes music library to this external. works great.

It's a nice, inexpensive upgrade for any new Mac with the limited, costly built-in SSD. The upcoming SierraOS nicely moves the desktop and documents folders to the cloud but people may experience a fee for space.

Works as expected good quality, used mainly for pics, movies and VMs, to avoid filling up my local SSD, write is slower as expected but reads are great

This is a swell way to include the Time Machine feature without tethering the laptop to an external disk. A no brainer, unless you use Time Machine as a backup for laptop loss eventualities.

Used this to breathe new life into my Mac, which was slowing down because of a lack of hard disk space for apps to cache to. Once inserted, it extends just 1/16" from the surface, less than the thickness of a US penny, so it's as unobtrusive as it gets.

Works absolutely perfectly!

I use it for my music. It sometimes has a bit of delay when I change the music I listen to. But, otherwise, it is perfect. Transfer is fast, and the songs flow without delay.
