I read as many reviews as possible before taking the leap and purchasing this lens. I'm happy to say, the lens did not disappoint in any way. The sharpness and color accuracy are exceptional.
Sharp as a tack! People complaining about the slow focus are just nitpicking. Love the weight. Very well-made for the price.
Received this lens and instantly ran it through some tests!Overall, really like this lens. Build quality is great and feels super sturdy. With that said though, it is defiantly heavy and after a while gets tiring to hold! That is mostly why I gave it 4 stars.Quality though is great!
This is a fantastic lens. Sharp images, no aberration, accurate color rendition. Solid as a tank; however, and this is my only issue, is this lens is heavy, 2 1/2 pounds. So if you have a Metabones adapter on your camera already and pop this baby on there, you are mounting the camera to the lens,...
A few months ago my wife bought me the 14-20 Tokina for my canon (t3) and I loved it. I saw a sale come up on this and had enough saved so I went for it. I only have been taking photos for less than a year so I cannot compare this to many lenses.
This lens comes so close to being as sharp as the Cannon version its incredible. The only reason I give it 4 over 5 stars is the 60 degree focus rotation (rather than the typical 90) which does make using this for video a little more difficult.
This thing is stout! It's a big chunk of glass. I think for the price you can't beat it. The images I've captured look fantastic. But beware, you better hit the gym because it's heavy and requires a bit of torque to rotate the zoom ring.
i use it for party and photoshoot and anything that have to do with pictures
What a great lens and its construction is top notch. I only wish it was not so heavy, but again, this doesn't prevent one to hold it and there's always the tripod.
Very sharp pictures at all lengths, solid build. Good in low light. It is a heavy lens. The glass extends almost to the edge of lens, I recommend a filter to protect the glass. Great walk about lens, this will be on my camera most of the time.
