The Technics AZ80 are decent for neutral sound. They have a mostly balanced bass response, with an extra emphasis on the high bass, that can help add dynamism to basslines. The mids, too, are mostly flat, rendering vocals and lead instruments in crisp detail.

Well-built with an IPX4 rating for the buds themselves., Comfortable and stable in-ear fit.
-
-
High latency with both SBC and LDAC., Poor passive soundstage performance.
The Technics EAH-AZ80 are high-end wireless earphones with excellent audio quality and good active noise reduction performance. I was able to review them for nextpit and would like to share my full and honest review of these true wireless earphones with ANC.

Excellent audio quality with a balanced sound signature, Excellent battery life, Comprehensive application, Multipoint Bluetooth supported, Wear detection, IPX4 certified, Wireless charging

Plain design, Active Noise Cancellation can be improved, Disappointing microphone quality, Expensive
“Great sound and comfort for hours of hi-fi listening.”

+
Really comfortable, Warm, detailed sound, Top-notch noise cancellation, Class-leading call quality, Convenient 3-way Bluetooth
-
-
A bit pricey, Slightly lacking in clarity
The EAH-AZ80 may not look like the best choice for small ears, with their extruded exteriors and relatively hefty weight of seven grams per bud. But Technics has been hard at work on its concha-fit design, drawing up well-crafted housings that grip snuggly into the exterior of even smaller ears...

Superb sound quality, Three-device multipoint pairing, Loads of adjustable features, Stable and customizable fit, Good noise canceling

Bulky design, Pricey
With sound quality worthy of Technics’ name and unique three-way multipoint, the EAH-AZ80 are a comprehensive package worth their $300 price.

Wonderful sound quality, First earbuds with three-way multipoint, Strong, if not best-in-class, ANC

Transparency mode could sound more natural, JustMyVoice can negatively impact call quality if you push it too far, Audio Connect app might overwhelm some
Technics promises clearer calls and better noise reduction than ever before with the flagship EAH-AZ80 earbuds.

The AZ80 knows a lot of tricks, has advanced noise reduction and outstanding sound. Awesome!

With so many features, it's easy to get lost in the app.
The biggest issue when comparing Technics' well-appointed AZ80 to Apple’s excellent AirPods Pro gen 2 is pricing. Currently, the most recent AirPods Pros retail for $249.00, while the EAH-AZ80 will cost you $50 more at $299.99.
The Technics EAH-AZ80 impressed us with very good sound, efficient noise cancelling (ANC), innovative technology for phone calls (JustMyVoice) and an app that leaves nothing to be desired.

I do not tend to throw around the word “best” too often in my reviews. So, I was pleasantly surprised that Technics’ EAH-AZ80 True Wireless Earbuds had me use it three times in this review.
Noise cancelling is very good. The sound quality is very good also. I don't experience any drop outs in audio like I did with the Bose. The app has several ways to adjust the audio and noise cancelling. There is a 5-band EQ. With ANC on you adjust how much outside you still want to allow.

ANC not a good as Bose but still good.
These earbuds sound super good they are considered the best i understand why now but only 1 complaint I go to gym everyday and with these on I can still hear the clanking of the iron so yeah 9/10!! In a normal setting other than gym yeah these would definitely be my go too!

Sound is very clear !

Noise canceling can be a bit better
This was the best tech purchase in recent memory. The fit is great and simple entry into the ear.The features are easy to use.The features work very well.I'm glad I made this purchase.

None so far!
These are the best ear buds I've ever owned. I bought a pair of the Bose headphones and while the noise cancelling was great I couldn't use them because they were too sensitive to touch. These are perfect. The noise cancelling is amazing, sound quality is great.
Was looking for a pair of ear buds for my husband and his noisy office (he was having a hard time concentrating). The noise canceling on these has been very helpful. No issues with connecting to devices. Sound quality is good. Range from device connected to is also good.
It takes a little trial and error swapping out the 7 different sizes, and mixing them up, but I figured out a very comfortable fit and seal.I haven't taken them on a run yet, but anticipate they will do well. I prioritized sound quality over toughness this time.

The app needs some work. It took me more time than it should have to find certain features.
I bought these as a replacement for my six-year-old Jabra 65t, which had a waning battery life. The Technics connect to devices more easily and have wireless charging, an upgrade from the Jabras but the sound is no better than any ordinary low-cost, generic earbuds and far inferior to the Jabras.

Sound is equivalent to cheap, generic earbuds.
Great sound that really immerses you into whatever you're listening to. Great for audio books, podcasts, music, and streaming.
Excellent frequency response and detail, no other TWS comes close and this may well be the first TWS that actually falls towards the audiophile class rather than consumer electronics - sure a $500 set of wired IEMs will sound better, but for convenience and legitimately excellent detail and a more...
The best earbuds i ever have. Very comfortable. Light weight. Sounds is incredible.
