The Tamron 150-500mm is an impressive super-telephoto mirrorless zoom for its price tag of $1,399. If you are interested in this focal range, and can live with its slower aperture, it is an excellent choice!

I like this lens, and am pleased with the images that it has made possible. It handles well, and the results are sharp, with some absolutely gorgeous bokeh, despite only having 7 diaphragm blades.

Telephoto zooms lenses are extremely useful members of the kit, and with a long range of long focal lengths, the Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD ultra-telephoto zoom lens is a great option to fill that role.

  Only used the lens on one day out so far, but it seems sharp throughout the range and is very easy to handle.

I have not had a chance to test the lens extensively in the field. However, the few pics that I have taken so far look promising. This is one heavy lens (as expected) but lenses of this focal length weigh even more than the Tamron. I mainly bought it for the good reviews and its discounted price.
