Tcl S405 65" Class HDR 4K UHD Smart LED TV

Works great and has a marvelous picture when your watching 4K and Ultra 4K movies. The sound could be improved. The weight of the tv is one of the lightest I've ever lifted. It is slim and the remote is very easy to use. Simplicity at its best.

It's fantastic for the price and hopefully will last long enough. The display is shap, vibrant, and the sound quality is spectacular as well. Very intuitive overall UI. I see people give it one star reviews just because they couldn't connect their earbuds or something of that sort. Ridiculous.

Great TV for the price. I paid almost twice as much for a similar Samsung and this TCL is as good so far. I have it with a home theater system, so I cannot comment on the sound. Main use is for our XBox and so far its great and no problens. Simple set up and controls. Would for sure buy again.

A little background... I cut the cord on cable over a year ago. I currently operate on DSL internet (approx 10mbps) and stream everything through FireStick/FireTV. I do have a Tablo for OTA stations. For my setup, I could not imagine a more perfect television. The remote was of no interest to me.

Backlight failed. From what I've seen the entirety of the backlight fails out when one (ONE) LED in the backlight string fails. Unfortunate, since the picture quality until then was fine, and the Roku interface is simply the best in the business.

After 6 years the picture just went out completely

I've had this TV since May and now there is no picture.

Worked great for about three years then the screen started flashing and going out. Now it won't work at all... Junk

The audio and visuals for cable stopped syncing, and i've had to use subtitles. I have had the cable company out 2 times and they have said it's the TV. I've called TCL (2+ hour phone call) and they say it's the cable. Incredibly frustrating.
