The only reason I went for TCL was due to the positive reviews, and I am very much enjoying my 55 inch TV. I read a few complaints on brightness and sound, but I don't seem to see any issues with that. I use it for gaming as well, and there doesn't seem to be any input lag, which is great.

This is my first ever review of an item, but I feel it's necessary for others interested in this item. I'll keep it basic because from experience, I know I don't want to reach too much of an in-depth review. Picture Quality: Is good yet unspectacular.

First, I have owned a TCL for the last 3 years and it's surprisingly a great and reliable brand. For this model, the picture quality is great. I have gone to other stores and viewed TVs and this is comparable to the mid-level displays of the other major brands.

I got this TV when it was on sale and I have no regrets. It may not be a well known name brand here in the states like Vizio or Samsung, but this TV uses quality parts. The picture looks fantastic, even if the availability of 4K is scarce. The amount of varied apps available put Chromecast to shame.

This TV, when functioning normally, works perfectly and has a great picture for the price. But I've owned it about two weeks and have had a few issues: As previous reviewers have stated, half the screen is sometimes darker than the other. Sometimes during startup, it will reboot itself.
