Sony MDR-100ABN is one of the best alternative to a Bose noise cancelling headphone

The Sony MDR-100ABN is a large over the ear model, but it is something you will not regret wearing for long hours. I really enjoyed listening to music for long duration as this is among the few headsets that don’t heat up inside after sometime.
Decent sound quality, great wireless, and noise cancellation that’s comparable to that of the Bose QC25 make the Sony MDR-100ABN h.ear on Wireless and excellent option for just about anyone who lives or works in the city.

Excellent wireless performance, Effective, stress-zapping ANC, Very comfortable

Poor sound quality when non-powered, Low-tech headphones offer better sound
The Sony MDR-100ABN is a pleasant, well-built pair of headphones that sound really good. The presence of digital noise cancellation gives it superior prowess, and the overall clarity is very alluring. It is expensive, but as they say, fine audio equipment is always worth investing in.

Expensive
Stunning to look at and fantastic to listen to, the latest in the H.ear On range proves once again that Sony is up there with the best when it comes to manufacturing high-quality headphones.

Exceptional comfort, Long battery life, Brilliant Hi-Res Audio functionality, Stylish look

Lack of low-battery warning, No touch controls, Wireless Hi-Res Audio only available through LDAC devices
Sony's product range has always been focused on the lower end, and buyers with a big budget are less likely to go for a brand that is perceived as 'mass market'. Products such as the h.ear On Wireless NC should go a long way in helping change that perception.

Immersive sound, Fantastic sonic isolation and noise cancellation, Strong sub-bass, competent mids and highs, Entertaining sonic signature, Comfortable design

A bit expensive, Takes a long time to charge
I'm just going to cut and paste my forum writeup. Has one media link that hopefully carries over. So this headphone went through a slew of sales recently and I snagged the verdant blue up for $169.

- Wireless sound quality, comfortable, full gamut of options

- wired non amplified sounds is pretty meh.
Probably the best sounding wireless headphones I've ever used. In order to achieve maximum sound quality you need to use a Sony player that supports the new LDAC wireless codec - which fortunately I do! And, in that case, your ears are in for a treat!
Use these in many settings-noise cancelling is superb and sound is amazing. Well built-I like to fit on my ears.
They are too small, my ears don't have enough room. The sound is okay, a little muffled. The noise cancellation works great. The blue tooth range is limited...thought it would be better.

On/off button hard to find, Uncomfortable
Great pair of headphones, noise cancelling is fantastic it drowns out my house mates noisy eating habits and The neighbours annoying dog! Looks a bit big on the head but I think that’s probably due to the size of my actual head rather than the headphones themselves.
Long flight made more enjoyable using these phones. Usual engine roar almost completely gone. I may well use these elsewhere but they are excellent for aircraft.
Really happy with the product, great sound, great noise cancellation and very long battery life! One negative it is a little bit chunky and bigger than other headphones.
Good product just steep price in Europe but happy enough to buy in US
These are my first wireless headphones and are perfect for what I needed. Really happy with them!
I bought this a few weeks ago. I like the sturdiness and crisp sound. Could be a bit more power to the music. Only less good point is the noise cancelling which is still letting noise in. But main thing is it is solid easy to use and delivers a good experience overall.
