Sony's X900H series offers an eye-catching design and plenty of features through Android TV, but it's on the pricey side for the picture quality it delivers.
-
+
Plenty of features including Apple AirPlay and Google Cast, Low input lag, Attractive design
-
-
Expensive for the picture quality, Modest contrast with weak black levels, Oversaturated reds and undersaturated greens
The TV is fantastic when it works. I've had it freeze on me twice, resulting in a reboot. Switching between eARC and TV speakers sometimes requires you to reboot the TV. Blooming is present although it's not awful. Color accuracy is really good and it's a bright panel.

4k content (UHD-BD) looks fantastic. Works well as a video game TV. OS is fairly quick and responsive. Supports all the major streaming apps.

eARC is buggy. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. Frequently it works fine and then ceases to work only to start working again. Very annoying.
I bought this TV a few weeks ago and I LOVE it. I was considering switching to another brand but the other guy was more expensive for the same features. I have a 65" 900 series from 2 years ago and that is still a great TV but I just needed a bigger one for the movie room and a projector is just out...
This TV blew me away after I got it setup and mounted over my fireplace. If you get the good cables and setup everything correctly, it has an amazing picture. A bonus, main reason I chose this model, is that you can upgrade the firmware to meet the newer hdmi 2.1 standard to get the full potential...
Great TV! The smart interface is awesome. One issue I have had that seems to be the every day for some people is the wifi discounts and will not reconnect. I only had this one time. All I did was a hard reset and it was fixed. Only has happened one time. Does not happen in the middle of usage.

Next gen console ready!Updates to softwareGreat picture with some adjustments can get to almost OLED quality.Way cheaper the the OLEDs

Some viewing angle distortion in cornersNot as deep of blacks that I would have liked
I love my 85" X900H!Plugged it in and it started working right away with current channel listings etc.Only problem is the WiFi doesn't work.I used CAT6 instead, and that works, but there are other apps that require WiFi to operate on the network. This has me bummed, but the rest of the TV is amazing!
I purchased my a Sony 65inch 4K UHF HDR LED smart tv. I am glad I did. The set up was very easy. I am not an android person, I have an Apple TV. I didn’t follow all the google android set up, but once my Apple TV was connected to one of the HDMI outlet, the TV recognized it right away.
Very good mid level 4ktv. Perfect for gaming and watching movies. Live tv watching is about average if you're using sling tv or the Hulu tv app. Sometimes the tv buffers to the point you will have reload the app. It might be my internet provider although my tv is directly to my modem.

Picture quality. Plenty of apps. Great for the next gaming generation

Occasionally the onboard apps crash or a little buggy. Slight blooming when there is subtitles are on. My tv has crashed twice so far or restarted by itself
I realize this tv after coming from the Vizio P-Series. I bought it for the picture and for my Xbox Series X to have the full 120hz feature. I looked at others but was really happy with the features that came with especially the Dolby Vision. There are two things that don't put it at 5 star for me.
Purchased 1 week ago at local BX..great pic quality and ridiculously low price for such advanced features. Local dimming works just fine even with only 32 zones. Sound quality is a bit tinny but most will use st least a sound bar.
I purchase Sony products because they have a reputation for delivering quality. The Sony X900H has lived up to that expectation. The picture image was outstanding! I spent a significant amount of time comparing other manufacturers with comparable specifications and found the Sony X900H to be far...
