This TV is very good for mixed usage. It has decent reflection handling and can get bright enough to be placed in average lit rooms. It has deep blacks that enhance the good picture quality, but the viewing angles are poor and those viewing from the side will be disappointed.

Deep and uniform dark scenes, Excellent motion handling, Supports a wide color gamut

Mediocre HDR peak brightness, Image degrades when viewed at an angle
Incredible picture! When I selected the Picture Mode of Vibrant the whites were so bright I was blown away! The only concern I did have.....not anymore though.....was that the TV took about an hour to "Search for Software Updates". Looking forward to lots of TV watching on my new Sony UltraHD TV.

Incredible picture quality and I haven't even fed it a true 4K signal yet!

I would like to have a paper printed version of the HELP material. Navigating through all those screen menus is a pain.
I love Sony. Got rid of my Samsung. Even though the Samsung was LED. 4K, this is way better.
This is my first LED tv ( previously had plasma). Picture is great w/ HD content but the plasma's picture was much better for non-HD content. My room has a lot of windows. I have no issues with glare. I read reviews talking about diminished picture from the side. I haven't noticed this.

Low glare; good picture; smooth action.

Power chord on right; other chords on left. Remote sensor in center of tv.
Remarkably sharp picture with vibrant colors. The navigation buttons on the remote could have been spaced out more but I did not purchase this TV for the remote. This is just a really good picture for what I watch - movies and sports.

Superb picture. Easy setup took 10 minutes.

Remote buttons close together but not an issue.
Excellent picture and features at this price point. No problem with updates. The 60 fit my room size perfectly.Among the nice feature is how the TV works with the cable box, allowing for single remote use and superior performance.

For a senior there are too many options, not that that is bad, just confusing
First the good news - the picture quality is outstanding. Now the bad news. The sound is no better than one expects in any TV, so we added a Sony HT-CT290 soundbar. After discovering that the recommended connection (HDMI ARC) resulted in a delay of about 1/2 second of sound relative to picture, we...
