Sony's WX350 packs a 20x optical zoom into a surprisingly compact body - indeed Sony claims it's the World's smallest and lightest with this optical range and I can't think of anything to dispute that.
Very compact, lightweight body., 20x stablilized optical zoom., 1080p50/60 HD videoBuilt-in Wifi with NFC., 470 shot battery life.
Lens quality at the edges., Poor screen visibility outdoors., No exposure compensation on control wheel., Basic Wifi functions.
With its 20x zoom lens, slim 26mm body and £199 price, the WX350 slots in neatly between the dinky WX220 and chunky HX60 in Sony's compact camera range. We suspect that most people will find it the most appealing of the three – not as fiddly as the WX220 but easier to slip into a pocket than the...
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX350 stands out as a very capable travelzoom camera. Its Exmor R sensor doesn’t fall foul of some of the image quality pitfalls prevalent in cameras using the same size of sensor and produces very pleasing photos with good detail, punchy colours and well-controlled noise.
The Sony Cybershot WX350 is an extremely small camera, particularly when you consider it packs a 20x optical zoom lens and Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi and NFC make it easy to share images with smartphones and tablets, as well as using them as a remote control.
Small body, 20x optical zoom lens, Built-in Wi-Fi and NFC, Up to 10fps continuous shooting, Excellent battery life (470 shots), Images have good colours, Impressive focus speeds
Image detail could be better, Images are noisy from ISO 800 upwards, Screen is overly bright
Great zoom, beautiful colors and consistent performance makes the Sony WX350 a worthy addition to the Cybershot line up.
My wife had this camera for several years and loved everything about it. Quality, Ease of handling. Zoom capability. Conveniently fits in purse or pocket. Exceptionally great pictures. Then I dropped it and jammed the lens. Didn't waste a minute and ordered the same camera.
Really like Sony as this is my 3rd Sony camera. Had 2 of the cybershots which the zoom toggles broke on both so I opted for this more expensive upgrade & the zoom toggle is very jerky & sometimes doesn't work. This must be a Sony weakness. Looking at other brands now.
I bought this because it's rated good in low light. It's so complicated to wade through all the programs/settings, that I think I'd have to refer to the manual for every shot to get the right exposure. Why can't these simple things be simpler to use?
Great Zoom, Small / Compact
The "read only" problem I mentioned in my original review can be changed by going to Menu-Setup-USB Connection, and changing the default Auto setting to Mass Storage. Was this review helpful?

I was surprised at how small and how light the camera is. It's a little more difficult to transfer to my computer than my former camera, but the camera takes very good pictures. I am pleased with my choice.
Great camera with a 20X zoom in an incredibly small package. Images are very sharp. Has many bells and whistles including wifi, low light mode, scene modes, etc. Great for travel due to the small size and great images.
This is a great camera for travelling.Very small & lightweight.I wear it around my neck on a lanyard.Good resolution & 20X zoom in a small camera.
Was bought as a gift, I tried it before giving it and it seemed very easy to use, I hope they enjoy it
I received this camera as a birthday present and I'm so pleased with it. It takes excellent photos, the colours look really bright. It is small and compact so perfect for taking into the great outdoors. A very good camera for the price.
I bought this as it's small, compact and does everything that a larger, heavier camera would. Fits easily into pocket or handbag. The one drawback is the lack of a printed instruction manual, not feasible to keep looing online or printing off so many pages.
