It’s not as bright as the best big OLEDs but this flagship 48-inch TV from Sony is still exceptionally good Extraordinarily sharp, solid, detailed Effortless naturalism Good HDMI 2.1 feature set Not as bright or insightful as some LG C2 has even better gaming specs Very expensive in the UK
Really pleased with my choice - sharp colours and good sound
I bought this tv a couple of weeks ago and I am still learning about its many features, but I can`t get it to connect to my Humax recorder. This is not meant as a complaint but probably due to me not being very tech savvy. Overall I think the tv is great.
I got his TV a week ago, and it is just amazing. The OLED quality is just stunning, the apps are great and in addition you get to access Sony's own streaming service. Sony quality is there, even the remotes (yes you get two) are top quality. RECOMMENDED
I bought this TV 3 weeks ago & both the features, picture & sound are excellent, I was hoping to get the A95k, but 55” wouldn’t fit in the space I have available, but I have to say, the 95 must be some TV if it outperforms this!
Like most other things in life, you get what you pay for. This television was not cheap, but as my wife and I watch television most days, it is worth paying extra for outstanding picture quality. I watch sport and it is probably 'top of the range' in this area of entertainment.
Nice colours. Very deep blacks. Like that it has Apple TV
All the Apps for Internet radio are pretty useless. It's three steps back from the German TV that it replaced. Otherwise very satisfactory.
So pleased with this new Sony tv Lice everything about the sound & picture quality.
I bought this TV a month ago and have been very pleased with it so far (great picture quality and sound is OK but better through a sound bar) apart from one aspect. The sound bar doesn't work when the TV is getting its signal direct from the aerial socket: it defaults to the TV's speakers.
I've been awaiting the appearance of this model on the market for quite a few months. I originally considered the XR-55A84K but it was too big, so I assumed Sony would be producing a 48" version, it being the most popular TV size in the UK. I have to say, it was well worth the wait.
