Am comparing with the Sony Nex-7, of which I own 3 bodies.I dismiss DSLR cameras as inappropriate for my purposes. Film SLRs and DSLRs are too bulky and weighty, even APS-sensor DSLRs, to be carried when photography is not my sole purpose of travel and recreation.
I recently upgraded from the A6000 and could not be happier. I am an amateur photographer with a love for landscapes, sports, wildlife, and capturing people doing what they love. The A6000 was a tremendous entry into an advanced camera that has produced, and continues to produce, excellent results.
Most notably in-body image stabilization, touchscreen control, and a faster processor that makes the camera considerably more usable for fast-paced shooting. The focus -lock is amazing, 4K Videos and pictures are stunning. My first Sony camera and I am very mpressed
This camera gives me everything I wanted from it: I shoot some professional interviews with it and I'm pretty happy with the results. Also, I love the still photos taken with it.
Its really nice to use with Sony zeiss bats 18mm and Ronin M, everything work well and the autofocus is wonderful.
I have many lens for this camera since I have the 6000 model. The grip is great and the speed of this camera is awesome. For video it is worth the update from the 6000
So far love this camera! Image quality is better and so much nicer to use than a DSLR. So glad that I switched systems!
As a woman,I always a Sony mirrorless camera fan & owner.I love taking pictures of family and friends and I love traveling. So Sony mirrorless camera is always my travel companion. It's light but can take amazing pictures.I still have my Nex 3, Nex 5 and Nex 7 cameras.
Owned the A6500 for four months now and I am happy with my purchase. I wanted a compact and lightweight camera kit. It fits the bill. The A6500 is complimented with Sigma Art prime lenses and a Leica 28mm prime that stays on the camera most of the time. The A6500 is a lot of fun.
Amazing camera, good upgrade from the 6300
