Ok, let's cut to the chase, I REALLY like the Sirui T-004x Aluminum Tripod, which comes with the C-10x Ball Head.I own two other tripods, a HUGE Bogen 3035 that I use for video work. It's massive and stable, even when it's extended to 12 feet, which I do all the time.
I was looking for a affordable, lightweight and portable tripod and ended up buying the Sirui T-004x. I've been using it on a trip to the Rockies and must say that it's pretty easy to set up. I liked that it came with a quick release plate and the ball head is also very easy to use.
A simple but solid tripod. A good value for its pricepoint.#sweepstakes
Have used for most of a year now and I love it! The rotating clamps on the legs work without slippage and it folds quickly into a compact size that fits inside a medium backpack.
Well I am now starting photography. I bought a camera bundle that came with a flimsy tripod that didn't leave me feeling safe about even putting my small A6000 on it. It was shaky.I decided to purchase this one because of the excellent reviews I've seen, and for the great price.
easy to transport , very light and stable, excellent value
Very light and compact, easily attaches to my backpack. The Sirui ball head is fine for lighter lenses, some folks (me) may want to try a different head, which I didwith my Induro head, non ball type.Worked out fine with my Tamron 70-200, F2.8.
Using this tripod with an Olumpus OM-D E5 with 14-150 mm lens. With such a light camera, this tripod works beautifully. It is reasonably steady with the legs fully extended and rock solid without extending the third segment.
Bought this for an upcoming trip to Europe and Iceland. Plan on using it with my mirrorless for lowlight interior and night shots. Fits nicely in my daypack and doesn't weigh to much.
This is my second tripod that I've owned. I was looking for something light, sturdy and compact enough that it would fit in my my camera backpack that is 20" x 12" x 9". The tripod fits like a DREAM and is incredibly strong even in high winds and light rain.
