If you are looking for an excuse to buy this lens, I’ll give you three. It’s sharp, it delivers awesome performance as a macro lens, and it’s an excellent dedicated portrait lens. The build quality is very good and tactile feedback is positive and convincing.

Super quality optics.Pictures are superb sharp.Im very happy£700 yes not cheep but ....low light focusing +/- yes - there is a little low performance but lens is super sharp that maybe my camera A7RII not up to date on focusing I dont know.... but this lens makes me love photography again.
