I have two of the CFast cards (128GB and 64GB), with labels showing just the Read speeds. These cards need to be Sanitized using SanDisk's Sanitizer app in order to remain reliable.
EgoDisk CFast cards are much Faster and half the price.
I've been using 2 of these cards with my C300 mkii for a couple of months and have had zero issues. I think the price point is way off and should be about half what they are now but, with Sony now adopting the format and offering their own cards, maybe there's hope.
I have three of the 128gb cards for use with my c300 mkii. I've never had an issue. Footage is as it should be after hundreds of hours of shooting with these cards.
The VPG130 cards from SanDisk are incredibly reliable. It doesn't make sense to give this card a bad review because it isn't supported by a particular camera. I know a few people who have used this with C200s (which requires VPG-130 for the Cinema RAW Light). It works flawlessly.
I recently purchased a Canon Mark II DX1 with 4K imaging. We needed a fast, high quality card in order to capture the details we wanted for this camera. After doing some research, I wanted to purchase a CFast card instead of a C-flash card. Our first SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB 515MB/s card is great!
Beware! Doesn't work on alexa mini. Extremely disappointed.
I have 2 128 GB's Of the previous Discontinued model that works with the arri amira .. but this one doesn't
Lost all of my footage & this card crashed 3 computers, out of nowhere, while transferring footage. Absolutely horrible. I lost all of the footage on this card for a high budget music video and was an expensive screw up. Never again! DO NOT BUY!
no issues on the Canon C200 at 4k raw. I can't wait till cfast cards start dropping in price
