We had a Q80A that tragically met it's demise when a toddler smacked it with a toy, we got the Q80B since it was supposed to be a year new and have better hdr. Unfortunately it's just not as nice. It's slower, there is blooming in the bottom of the screen and the brightness isn't quite as high.
My biggest deciding factor in choosing this particular model was the design of the stand. I needed it fit on my current stand and most TV’s have the feet on either end of the TV, which would have made it far to wide to fit. Only a couple had a solid metal stand in the middle of the TV.
The 55" TV is nice, but don't like the solar remote. It's a new gadget that has to be learned and not user friendly for my wife. The USB C cord needed to charge the remote is not included. Come on Samsung, you pay hundreds for a TV and you won't include the cord.
Dislikes: the remote works on multiple tvs. I guess Samsung knows this and doesn't care. But my issue is that my wife and I have tvs right next to each other so I can play Xbox while she has movies streaming. The problem is that her remote activates on my TV also.
I Purchased the 65 inch QLED QN65Q80BAFXZA, 2022 Model. There is no "Input" button on the remote to cycle through connected devices. Selecting devices through the on-screen menu is complicated.
This tv is really high quality and looks really nice when wall mounted! It's got lots of apps, and is pretty easy to set up with SmartThings on a Samsung Android device. The audio from the tv is also pretty crisp and clear. I can watch movies / listen to music on the Spotify app with it just fine.
