The Ryze Tello is a toy quadcopter flyable via smartphone or laptop (using Scratch). Its video quality isn't anything to write home about, but it's a fun tech toy and learning tool.

The Ryze Tech Tello is a fun, simple drone to fly, but its programming feature is poorly executed, and its battery life is short.

Even from our brief time with the Ryze Tello, we can tell its going to be one of the best drones of 2018 with a ton of smarts and surprisingly ample performance for its small size.

This is a great beginner quad and is very forgiving. In other words, if one makes a wrong heading simply release the controls and it hovers in place.

Many great features on this drone. It is a good unit to learn on. It's ability to hover is a real plus. Short flying time of 12 minutes can be offset by buying relatively inexpensive batteries. Unit construction is of tough plastic. It can take a pretty good hit. Best not to fly in winds over 5 mph.

Works great. Easy to connect and to fly with the Tello app or to program with an app (I use Go Tello and Tello Edu). Very stable and responsive. Can be flown outside only when there is no wind at all. Photos and videos OK. Perfect for getting started and familiarise yourself with drones.

this drone is awesome, i had the cheap price drone and never can use because are unstable on hit everything, because i inexperienced user , but this drone is amazing easy to use and super stable , wheat you press take off the drones up and stay stable in the air , i remove my hand from the controls...

What an awesome beginners drone!! Photo quality as well as video are on the low end but for the price, you can't beat it!! Flight time and ease of flight is good. The preprogrammed flights are also good aspects.

I am very pleased with the tello. Only had it for a few weeks now, and it has performed as expected. I also own a DJI Phantom as well,and do not expect the tello to perform like the Phantoms do. I have read many reviews beforePurchasing the tello and for to money you get a well designed drone.

This drone is very user friendly to fly. If you are beginner, don't worry. Most drones this size have issues with staying still in the air, but this one doesn't. Because of size it can be prone to wind so keep that in mind while flying. Enjoy!

This drone is perfect for beginners and experienced flyers. it's easy to setup and control with your phone works with ISO and Android, works better inside than outside, the wind seems to blow this drone around pretty easily but it will fly great in low or no wind.

Amazing video and easy to use. But the batteries...they are junk. Ryze customer support (via the chat function) advised me I should use it frequently so the batteries would maintain their life...but its a toy, so...

I took it over the weekend to the beach where there were moderate wind but it kept steady. Got some great footage and the nice thing is that it was fairly quiet and a lot of people didn't even noticed that it was there.
