The Rode NT1A produces quality results on a budget. It has low self-noise, reasonably high SPL rating and is suitable for use on both vocals and a range of instruments. The tone of the mic is considered pleasant by many although there are certainly a number of users that take issue with the timbre...

Rode's original NT1 was released around 16 years ago, followed by the NT1A a few years later. Now the company has gone back to the old name with a just-released new NT1 model that looks very similar to the NT1A but has actually been completely redesigned from the ground up, the only component in...
I like the ease of use. I appreciate the excellent and faithful reproduction it produces...It records like a dream and, if placed properly can capture exactly what you want...It's well built but I wouldn't recommend tossing it down a flight of stairs...
The Rode NT1-A is another entry into the ever-growing field of affordable large-diaphragm condenser mics. It lists for $349, but I found $199 to be the common street price on the internet [Editor’s note – scroll down to see all current online sale prices for the NT1-A].
I love this microphone. I'm a professional voice over and recording artist (soprano vocal range). I use it together with my Audio Interface, Focusrite 2i2, and things are just dandy!I recently went to the Cutting Room Studios in NYC to get my R&B single mixed.
I have had this mic for 1 month and I am already impressed with its clarity and how it works with my Voice. After much studying, I understand why most reviews say that every studio should at least have one of these mics.
I love this mic! Great for the musician on a budget. I put this mic up against some other more expensive mics that I own and it holds its own every time!
Rode is legendary for its microphone . They are considered to be top of the line. But say you’re like me, an upcoming artist on a budget. You want a microphone that competes with commercial studio quality. The nt1a from Rode is the mic for you. It only cost 200 dollars. The quality is superb.

I have not noted anything negative about this mic to date.
Are use it in my post production set up to record ADR and it works excellent for what I have to do . Yes I would recommend this product to others and I feel is you won't be disappointed .
The mic sounds great. Very clean and clear. The shock mount, stand, pop filter, all add to it. The interface (Shure MVi) is easy to use and can connect to my computer or my phone.
To save studio fees on voiceover recording on our crowdfunded project, we decided to attempt recording voiceover/narration in my home office. My office/studio space is large with significant echo; the quality of the first recordings reflected both the previous microphone's lesser quality and the...
Excellent sound. One note: make sure you sound treat your recording area (a few square feet of foam will do) or the sound will be too bright.
Great studio mic. Needs to be used in a recording studio or booth. The pop screen is just ok as far as the quality of the construction.
