During your research you may have come across the many binocular reviews on the web that are little more than adverts written by people who have never even laid eyes on the model they are writing about, but I can assure you that this review is completely my honest opinion of these Pentax binoculars...
Overall, the Pentax DCF SP binocular line is very impressive. The optical performance of these binoculars competes well on today’s binocular market. And at these prices, the DCF SP line is a fabulous value, period.
What you give up slightly in angle of view, these are super performers for eyeglass folks with the generous eye relief these provide. These easily compete with friends' German glass and are great at color separation duties.
