Panasonic 1.2 cu. ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave

I have used a microwave oven since the mid 80s, this is the first microwave I owned that did not have a light come on when the door was opened. If I had been aware of this short coming I would not have purchased this unit.

This microwave was fine for 5 years. Not sure how long a microwave should last but 5 years seems on the short side. Not a lemon but hardly durable. + The sound was fine, not particularly loud, about as loud as any microwave I had before.

All in all a good unit and I would buy it again.

  I have had this quite a while now. and I do like it. Has the keep food warm that works fine, Reheats food well. Popcorn pop the whole bag for a change.

  It is louder than the one it replaced, not that bad really. Door needs to be closed with some force, took me a while to get used to that. No light when the door is open. For all of that I will take one egg off.

I have been using this item for around 6-8 weeks, it seems to work fine so far. Items heat up quickly, also the power level can be adjusted.   Inverter technology promises faster results and better control. In 6 weeks of use, that is what I have seen. So far, I'm pleased with this oven in every way

I’m impressed at the power and near-silence of this microwave! The price point was desirable and I was in desperate need of a new microwave as the one that came with my new home was causing electrical problems and was a serious hazard. This microwave works well and heats food quickly.

  The inverter technology gives you constant heat (not full-on alternating with full-off) at the intensity of your choice. The high fan speed provides extra cooling for the magnetron tube.

  On the unit that I received, there were several bubbles under the plastic laminate over the control area on the right-front side and also on the door-release button. This is just a cosmetic problem, but I found it annoying enough to take off an egg from the rating.

Works great! Easy to use: you can punch in the exact time you need or use quick minute. Power settings are easy to use and help cook food more evenly. There are lots of different settings but not overwhelming.

Smaller than my old one but holds everything. It's pretty quiet, easy to use, and works perfectly. Big plus - that auto-reheat actually works! I thought it was BS.

The microwave started rusting on the inside and the paint started flaking off.
