The Olympus Digital M.Zuiko 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II R may be an unexciting lens for advanced users but many newbies start their journey with the Olympus system just right here. The optical quality isn't absolutely stunning but it is no slouch either.
This is a great zoom lens that I got with the GH4. The auto focus is pretty quick and reliable. I have found the photos that I have taken with the lens to be very sharp. I think my favorite thing about the lens is the small size. It is so light and portable.
This lens is good as a kit lens. It is small and offers a good range, with decent picture quality. However, If you are in the market for a micro four thirds lens, I would advise spending a little more and getting a better lens.
