The A900 offers up plenty of flexibility for a camera for holidays, while also including attractive features such as 4K video recording and SnapBridge connectivity. A touchscreen would have been a welcome addition, however.

  • +

Long zoom, Pocket-friendly, Tilting screen and SnapBridge

  • -

Screen isn’t touch-sensitive, small sensor and there's no viewfinder, Low-light performance could be better

I have been using my A900 for two months and am delighted with the results. This is a great camera to take on trips into the back country. It is small, compact and light but has most of the features of a much heavier DSLR camera.

I was execited to get this camera as an upgrade from the Panasonic ZS50 and after a week of using I must say I am really disappointed. First off the low light pictures are horrible with all the various settings tried.

The headline feature is the zoom. It is great. But do you want to carry a tripod with you? It's pretty hard to hold a 20x image stable, yet alone this camera's 35x. However it has pretty good image stabilization, and REALLY good stabilization in 1080p videos as it over samples the edges and shifts...
