These binoculars gather light and present a clear view of the birds we were viewing. The Crooked Horn strap keeps the binoculars from bouncing, yet allows me to life them quickly. I bought two pairs.
The Nikon Monarch 5 binoculars continue to WOW! me. I love them. I had the same binos for years, and had begun to feel that had seen better days. Happily, someone stole them a few weeks ago! So I ordered the Monarch 5. I feel like a kid when I use them.
So far so good. Clarity is exceptional. Only issue - eyecup covers are way too loose to be of any protection. I would rather have tight fitting covers than easy off. Otherwise, like them. Can't wait to use them on the lake to check out the various duck and bird species.
Good clarity, easily and quickly adjustable for various focusing lengths.
eye cup protection covers, too loose to be of use.
I just got these for my wife, to say she is happy with these is an understatement She broke them in with her first eagle sighting, right after opening the box..!
I haven't had these long, but I love them. I wear glasses, and for once I've found a pair of binoculars that I don't have to take them off to use! I can't believe the power of them. 20/20 vision and you can see specific single hairs on an animal. Five star!
I have been very pleased with my purchase. I used them last weekend at the inaugural Indianapolis Grand Prix Indy car race for the first time. Great clarity, can't wait for my annual fall fishing trip to Montana.
Close Focus, Lightweight, Multiple Uses, Quality Lenses, Works Well With Glasses
I've had Zeiss Jenna binoculars for what may be 40 years. I thought it was time to replace them. I was apprehensive, buying the Nikkon binoculars, as I wondered if they would actually be better than my old ones. Well, I'm so pleased that I got them.
Clear view and easy to use. Very happy with this product.
Really light and easy to handle, very bright and wonderful crisp view. A joy to use.
I think these binoculars are built solid and the optics are first rate. The only issues I have with them is that the Diopter Ring is very difficult to operate. The eye cup covers are loosely fitted and dont stay on. These are things that Nikon should fix.
