This is my favorite polarizer. I have gone through many and i love this one for so many reasons. 1st is the quality. You can see that right away. 2nd is the thickness. Although it is fairly thin it threads easily onto my lenses and has plenty of thread on the outside to add additional filters or...
Had other brands but this one works better in colors. On my Sony mirror-less, the lens hood seem to get in the way from turning the polarizing lens part. But, its manageable. That was the only drawback that I saw.
The filter rotates very well with no drag. I find it wholly compatible with auto focus function, and strobe use. The case it came in is nice, as it is reusable time and again for storing and protecting the filter.
Nikon makes the best glass and if you want the best pictures possible you go with Nikon Glass. I shot a few pictures with it so far and you can't beat Nikon.
I am not a big user of Polarizers, but when I need one, it needs to do the job, and this one works very well indeed. Very clear, neutral in color, and the threads mean it goes on a lens easily - and just as easily comes off a lens, as I never leave one on very long. It works, and well.
I tried several no comparison
I dropped and chipped my old polarizer, so the only one I would consider is another Nikon filter. I trust this filter to be compatible with the elements in the lens I own. It takes a beating....and I really used this one hard, but made a "fatal fumble" one afternoon and now the filter is chipped.
Best polarizer for Nikon lens
well made, smooth threads, does the job
Well constructed and smooth. Less light loss than with most circular polarizers. No detectable color cast. No vignetting on my 24-70 mm. Very pleased
