The AMD model of the Surface Laptop 4 13.5 is an interesting alternative to the Intel SKU and there are some advantages: The device is more affordable, the battery runtime is better, and the multi-core performance is superior to the most expensive Intel option, even on the entry-level Ryzen 5.

sturdy and high-quality metal chassis, decent input devices, good system performance, high picture quality, very good speakers, long battery runtime

hardly any maintenance options, limited configuration options, limited connectivity, reduced CPU performance on battery power, only 1 year warranty

The Surface Laptop 4 13.5 with the Intel processor is basically just a minor update with a new and faster processor, but the biggest advantage is the more efficient and faster integrated GPU. Everything else is pretty much the same.

sturdy and high-quality metal chassis, decent input devices, good system performance, high picture quality, very good speakers

hardly any maintenance options, no LTE, comparatively short battery runtime, limited configuration options, still no Thunderbolt; limited connectivity, slow response times, bad price-performance ratio, only 1 year warranty

An impressively quick, ultraportable laptop, but the Surface Laptop 4 can’t quite match the M1 MacBook Air

Hugely likeable design, Choice of AMD and Intel CPUs, Great touchscreen

Graphics performance below par, Middling battery life, Cheaper models are Alcantara only
Excellent quality and easy to use great battery ..
It looks and feels great, but the battery life on the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 is far, far worse than the advertised 17-19 hours - I'm talking about half of what is advertised, on a very good day, with minimal use, working away in the dark so that the screen brightness doesn't drain too much...
Had this 3 months and having repeated issues with- the USB-C port not charging, connecting, sending signal (repeatedly reinstalled drivers)- headphone jack has not worked- will not connect to blue tooth airpodsThe base of the machine always seem to be vibrating which can't be great for the...
It’s light weight, bright screen, love the colour, easy setup, keyboard fabulous to type on. Very happy thus far.
After a long wait, going through many reviews and being my usual indecisive self, I bit the bullet and ordered the new Surface Laptop 4. I have been using the new Surface Laptop 4 for over 2 weeks now. First impressions: looks great, light, portable, simple, love the keyboard and feel of typing.
Love it, good battery life, not too small not too large, easy and compact to carry around. I usenit to edit photos and study 1month in so far so good.
i love it but sadly it doesnt have a HDMI port and it was purchased for travel and to display powerpoint on large screens. Also the battery is inbuilt and cannot be removed to preserve it for longer life.
the most powerful laptops that are easy to use with a long battery life and great screen.
Seems like a good performance type laptop with fast booting
Fast, lightweight and reasonable price...All good!
