Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

More than Frustrated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement washer as the first one I bought gave me problems from the time of purchase.
From the time of the delivery, this second washer is already acting up. The fabric softener dispenser is full of water after each wash. I have already called Whirlpool requesting service. I am so disappointed with this Maytag model. I really wish I could have my money reimbursed so I could buy another brand name washer.
I want to add that my dryer (it was a bundle purchase) had to have the motor and vent replaced. It’s been a horrible experience with the purchase of my washer and dryer.

DO NOT BUY!
Two major problems after 53 weeks ownership.
1. The drain pump filter is inaccessible. I had to remove the top, the control panel, the front boot seal, and the front to get to the drain pump filter to remove two Shout sheets that were preventing the washer from draining. And you can’t get a pan under the filter to catch the water as you remove it. The fix I did wasn’t even mentioned in the Troubleshooting guide. I don’t want to think about what a repair company would have charged me. Poor design.
2. The front door rubber boot is deteriorating and has holes in it at the top. Poor quality.

Great Washer and dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and so far am very happy I did. As a "seasoned citizen," I remember the Maytag Washer and Dryer we had back in the 1970's and they were awesome, worked great, but didn't have a lot of fancy features. I sold them to buy newer units with more features and regretted it for decades. Finally, after all this time I bought this new Maytag, which seems to have the durability paired with all the features you would want. I am a contractor and one of my clients had these same units and highly recommended them. I followed my client's advice and my wife and I are glad we did.

Maytag #2
Hi we have a stackable front load Maytag in our in-law suite and purchased a different brand for the house. Have been having issues with the non-Maytag washer for a couple of months and never really cared for it because it was a top load. Last month, we purchased another Maytag front load and upsized to the 4.8 for the new washer and it has plenty of room for a king size comforter, which the other other Maytag could handle but the extra space is appreciated. Can’t wait to upgrade the dryer, so I have a matching washer and dryer. Bought the first Maytag, before we bought the non-Maytag, and haven’t had any trouble with the Maytag, and pray that it stays that way!!!

Three Months and $1100 wasted -
It seems like Maytag is built for three months. My machine simply does not work. Lights go on, push start, and then nothing. After reading the most recent reviews and the average wait for parts it looks like my holidays are not going to be pleasant. Seven people and no laundry. My last machine, Samsung, lasted over a decade. I always heard Maytags were the best. Looks like it was just advertising. Sorry Maytag but you should be ashamed of yourself for selling inferior quality and not having the parts to fix things.

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer 4 months ago to replace our whirlpool that we had for over ten years. I can honesty say it was a mistake. First the washer was working fine. 2 months later, we keep getting a “Lo Flo” error when using the normal cycle. We checked the hoses and water with nothing obstructing. We thought maybe the error was occurring because of water usage in the house. I even tried using the washer late at night and we occasionally get the same error. For the amount of money I paid for that washer, I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Quality is low par.

Not Recommended
We just purchased this model. Not impressed with the "bulky item". I never got thru the cycle (washing a bath mat- 1 and only 1) I really did not want to purchase a front load washer because once started really there cannot be an adjustment. Everything will sink to bottom. My neighbor was correct in the fact that the normal cycles are longer... I used to be able to wash a normal in 45 min now takes 1:15 minutes. Hubby may have gotten the color wrong... (ok) but actual doing laundry this model will not do for a family of 4 or larger. Again a bath mat... I could not wash... could not spin or drain.

Finally a washing machine that lives up to its rep
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine has made my wife a believer again in Maytag. It does the job we expected from our first Maytag washer a year ago, but had to be replaced when every working part failed over the period of a month! Even though it was outside the one year warranty, Maytag stepped up and gave us a full refund! I went right back and bought another Maytag because they proved to me that they would stand behind their product. Although it was a bit frustrating for us to be without a washer for a month, I will stay with Maytag because they treated this customer like I would treat mine!
