Disappointed in the quality of this unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this dryer for 3 weeks now. Already have a service call on it and they had to order parts. No ETA yet has been set. There are two problems with the unit. Problem one is that at end of cycle, there is no alarm/tone/beep/buzzer to indicate that it is done. Problem two is a rattling noise coming from the front bottom. If the unit is raised up beyond level, it does go away. The repair person will be looking at this issue when they replace the part for the end of cycle issue.
Our previous Maytag dryer had a much better build quality and didn't need service for over 12 years.

Great look and features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected this dryer because it had a great look and it had all the features I need, where some others were more expensive because the had settings that I would never use. Also, having spoken to an appliance repair person who I trust, he advised me that Maytag would be the best choice because of their reliability and relative ease of repair if necessary. Very happy so far. One thing I wish was better is the chime when the cycle ends. It has 3 volume settings but even the highest setting is not loud enough to hear unless you are I’m very close proximity.

Wonderful with Warning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased front loading Maytag washer and dryer and chose the Commercial Technology models. Absolutely love using these, but noticed a problem with clothes not being quite dry at the end of the cycle. We called a dryer vent cleaner, thinking we had a build up of lint in the dryer vent line. After the technician checked, we were told that we had flexible vent from the dryer to outside that was not fire safe or to code. We scheduled an appointment to have this replaced. No matter how wonderful your Maytag appliances are, be sure you have the vent safety checked to insure safe operation and avoid tragedy!

Outstanding Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this washer/electric dryer stack since August 1st. Great performance both units. No problems. The short 15-minute washer cycle is very helpful. Clothes come out much cleaner with a shorter cycle than my old Maytag's longer cycle. Dryer is excellent. Wrinkle free results. Only suggestion would be preset the short dryer cycle to 20 minutes rather than 15 minutes since it always seems to need an extra 5 minutes. Outstanding and well worth the extra cost of going with Maytag rather than a less expensive brand. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend Maytag.

Great features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and use it almost daily. There are 4 adults in the house that use it regularly. I have always purchased Maytag washers and dryers as my mother always said they were the best and I tend to agree. The only issue I have with this dryer is that there are times when we have to run the dryer a couple cylcles to get the clothes dry. We have tried different settings as my husband checked the manual and it said to turn the “steam” setting off which we did but the clothes still aren’t always as dry as I would like them and so I gave it a 3 for that reason.

Bravos is AWFUL
Maytag Bravos are AWFUL! We got the Bravos XL commercial washer and dryer in 2019 and have had problem after problem. Maytag stopped helping. We’ve replaced countless heating elements. They had sent out a tech for our washer a few times and they could never figure out why the washer wouldn’t work properly just kept replacing the head unit. So to say we are not Maytag fans is an understatement. I’m to the point where I’m just going to sit it out on the side of the road to be someone’s problem and get a more trusted appliance. Every time I do wash I’m reminded of how awful it is.

Hoping for the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used several times now over a couple weeks and find it’s pretty and flashy but has a cheap feel to it. Doors are not solid feeling and flex a lot when opening. Too much plastic. The end of cycle tones never can be heard and the adjustment never stays set. The moisture sensor shuts the cycle off with many items in the dryer fairly moist yet. Often need to run a short timed cycle after to finish drying. The lint filter apparatus feels super cheap with how it engages with the moving parts when you insert or remove the filter.
Looks like a 10 Built like a 6.

Just Ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this replacing my five year old Samsung washer that went out. I bought this because I’ve heard great things about Maytag. After using it for a month, I’ve realized I how much I miss the Samsung. Doesn’t have the same features, this one doesn’t have a light inside the dryer which doesn’t seem like a big deal but it it. Also we had it serviced already, one month into the purchase, because it would leak a little bit of water when we used “Steam” and the tech said to clean the seal but that he recommendeds not using it. I’m not impressed with this washer. It does it’s job I guess but not any better that others.
