Good Dryer, Early Problems
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wife and I purchased a washer and dryer together. They look great simple to use. We installed them on 10/13/19 a few loads in we noticed the ‘extra Power’ button would turn on when it sensed our finger near it. This would make the extra power button turn on when our hand was close then off again when the bottom was pushed. Also would randomly blink on and off during a load. The washer and dryer both work excellent the dryer is large and drys great! We will be getting a new console on both the washer and dryer Installed in a few weeks. I will try to give another review after the work is done.

Excellent features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago when our electric dryer died. The main reason we picked this brand is for the 10 year warranty. I love all the features and settings plus the huge size. The extra power button is nice. I like the lint trap is inside the bottom of the dryer. I like you can still use the timed dry settings. I like that it is energy efficient. But it would get 5 stars if the stupid sensors can make sure everything is completely dry. I use the more dry settings and recommended setting for items and it's mostly dry but sometimes I do get something that isn't completely dry. So 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been married for 54 years and have gone through quite a few dryers, therefore, I never questioned or ever heard of a dryer NOT having a light inside. I was highly disappointed, but since it was already in my house set up, I wasn’t going to undo everything and try to reload it to take it back. Have you ever tried to take clothes out of a dryer at night without a light in the dryer? It’s really inconvenient and why in the world would you even think about eliminating that from the inside of a dryer? I will definitely think twice about buying another Maytag dryer again!

Exactly what I needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a house with a washer and dryer already installed. From the get go we had problems like leaking water, not cleaning clothes effectively and we had to run the dryer sometimes 3 times to get stuff dried.
So, we bought a new washer and dryer. Off brand. 3 months in the dryer stopped producing heat and the washer smelled hot when spinning.
Long story short. We bought Maytag and couldn't be happier. Every time I do our washing, I realize how much easier and quicker everything goes and how much I struggled without even knowing it. Thanks Maytag for a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer about a month ago after our older model gave out. So far we have been blown away with how well this dryer works. I love the extra power button which is helpful in finishing a cycle more quickly, and I love all of the optional modes that I can choose from and the fact that I can also adjust the dryness levels, heat levels, and wrinkle control on each dry mode. This dryer has been life-changing for our family, it has allowed us to spend more time doing things other than laundry. I really appreciate Maytag for making a quality and affordable product that is American made!

Amazing .. but there are things I wasnt aware of
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first set I have bought brand new. While the washer and dryer are amazing there are things I didnt know. I bought this set because it was a stackable set to make more room in my small house. What I had no clue about is that they don't come with the brackets to install in order to stabilze them on top of one another . Also... i may be out of the loop but I was never aware that you had to purchase your own cord. Now I bought them from menards and I asked the guy for everything I needed and they failed to mention that to me. However this set is amazing and I would highly recommend!

washer and dreyer leave clothes wet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] washer leaves items soaking wet on certain cycles. Dryer doesn't dry on certain cycles. Repairman says that just how it is with these washers. So now I have to wash the clothes, then switch to an other cycle ("drain and spin") and have it run that cycle.
With the dryer, the delicate cycle doesn't dry the clothes. I have to run the delicate clothes on a non-sensor, timed cycle. Repairman says the sensor is in the front, so if the clothes near the front are dry (they are not) the sensor will shut off the dryer. My 23 year old top-load washer and dryer did a better job than these fancy front-loaders.

Replaced my old Maytag washer and dryer set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer to replace a 22 year old Maytag dryer to have a matched set when it was necessary to replace my 22 year old Maytag washing machine, I much prefer the simplicity and drying options that I had with my old dryer. It seemed to have drying options I found more useful and did a faster job drying my clothes. The complexity of both the washer and dryer and time required to "learn all the nuances of how to operate them" is a chore! I am surprised at the amount of time required to both run a wash and also the dry cycle. Wish I still had my old Maytag washer and dryer set.
